Where should I start... Let's talk about the good things first. Staffs is definitely friendly and most with good smile and felt welcoming.
Everything else going downhill... For a first timer, once walk in, felt lost. Spent the first half and hour walk around as most of the place is full with queues. By the way, I arrived around 10:20am. Found a least queue activity and enrolled the kids, the activities lasted less than 10 mins++. The queue, waiting time and activity meaning we spend about 1.5 hours standing and waiting.
Next activity we arrive 45 mins earlier! Waiting zone is another thing I want to comment on. Kids can only sit on the floor within little square yellow box. Parent has no place to stand and cannot go into the zone with kids, force to stand around which cause massive jam. Then there is the replica fire engine, city bus tour around the facilities with literally millimetres away from standing parents and queueing kids. Even though the speed is real slow but I foresee one of these days, there will have incident. But trust me, I pray for nothing to happen.
After queuing another 45 mins with impatience kids, finally some one came and gave out queue number to get us come back 30 mins later. Quickly we get the kids over to have a quick bite. Now looking back to some google comments, I understand one parents complaint about the meal. Kidzania as a playground for kids, nothing serve here indicate healthy... Hot chocolate is way way too sweet and bloody over price @ RM12.50 for a little cup. Fried Bee Hoon is literally fried bee hoon... Is soak in grease. Where is the healthy eating?!
Enough on the complaints on queuing, some would probably say, what is a theme park without queue? I expected to queue but clearer instructions should be given, many parent not sure where to queue and without queuing zone for parents, how would you expect them to leave their 5 years old running around Kidzania without supervision? Sure the parents want to be besides their kids. Queue number should be given and given out earlier, so 1st is to clear the unnecessary queue in front of the activity room, 2nd, parent can make use of their time with kids, walk around to enjoy the nice design and decoration in Kidzania.
Lastly, I promise this is the last comment. There should be a viewing area for parent to see their kids during the activity, even though is only 20 mins. So parent is part of the activity too, so for the marketer in Kidzania, get those parent involve so they see the benefits and can be their discussion point long after they left kidzania, so they have every reason to come back to experience more. I bought 2 kid tickets, 2 adult tickets for parent and 1 for kid's grandma. I see many grandparents around too. For grandparents, they can't stand for too long, seating is very limited and they are forced to move from one location to another, most of the time, sit or lean against the wall... If there is a viewing room or area for each activities, at least they can see too, now they are just moving from one place to another, I regret bring them along, don't want them to suffer and get tired...
We left just before 5, kids only participate in 3 activities. Spend most of the time standing, queueing, sorry to say we have been running from one activity to another just to ensure we are in time for the activity. For me, the only 3 activities is way way over priced, and we didn't get a chance to enjoy and look at what other activities. We could have seeing other activities and spend time with kids explaining what are those even if we are not participate in it, but now just queuing and chatting with impatience kids and parents. ... If Kidzania doesn't improve, no way I will recommend people to come. FYI, I bought the kidZania passport too, additional RM28 for each kids...
I am not sure if I am the only parents experience this, some comment 5 stars and with all praises. If you are one parent and manage to read through my long winded comments, still agree with me, hit me a like so I know I...
Read moreSalam and greetings. This will be my long review based on my visit on 22 November 2021. Sincerely for the sake of people who intended to visit here soon.
The fact every business were effected by the Endermic COVID-19, it should be transparent to inform the current business status. We all help out each other to get back stronger. Unfortunately, Kidzania had many site closed (almost 50% from total sites) and insufficient staff to entertain all the visitors. Yet, we are paid FULL 100% for this situation and this information were not declare before entering. :'( Below are my reviews :
Parking vehicle will be on the building with maximum rate of RM6 per day. Before entering, I enquired their official website due to lack information on activities. Below are the latest information :
Advertised 100 jobs to tryout but the latest actually was reduced to 60 jobs only.
Outside food is ALLOWED.
SOP restricted 500pax at one time.
It was not crowded at that time.
Prayer room at Level 3 for more spacious area.
So, we decided to enter the park at 12pm after purchasing the tickets at KLOOK. Children (4-17) from RM95 to RM84 and Adults from RM58 to RM51 after online less.
Registeration process was smoothly assisted by the Staff Norhelmi which needed to selfie and uploaded at the ticketing system for face recognition to purchase in park photos and other reasons.
The park was indeed not crowded and easily work or play without queue. For reference, here was the time consumed per job/play in our experience :
Operation Room - 15min Cat Grooming - 4min Z Mart - 8min Avisena Emergency Care - 10min AirAsia Flight Simulator - 13min Animation Studio - 13min Chocolate Factory - 20min Bank Account Registeration - 13min Fireafighter - 15min Healthy Food - 20min Eye check - 10min Drive test - 10min Drive street - 20min Mission Wrap food making - 20min Police Station - 15min Walk climbing - 20min
Unfortunately due to endermic COVID -19, many shops CLOSED in my calculation 55% of the whole park which are :
Theatre - No Show or Theatre Play Chika's Locker fashion store Sweet Butterfly Bakery Stem Robotic Lab The Globe Disco Lounge IlPiatto Delizioso Sptrizer Bottling Plant Studio Acting Audition Bloomz Florist Pink Chill Ice Cream Damakan Japanese and Korean Restaurant Jack and Ivy Kidz Spa Tourism Information Center LHDN MBPJ Hotel sentral Urbano's Magic Studio Optimax Eye Check Sabrina Beauty Saloon Urbanos Garage Toll vehicle Car Wash Kidzania Cash and Valuable Transport Construction Site Brainy Bunch Pre school Teacher Academy
The staff did put their best foot forward to entertained all visitors BUT my view was insufficient for the kids joy and knowledge such as :
Dentist : Was a prep of teeth and tooth but my kids just learned on the dummy patient.
The grooming pets was so quick, just brush the cat doll.
The Bank account was absolutely regsitering without learning. Even the ATM machine was NOT useable.
The AirAsia Flight simulator was just let the kids play with the handlebar. The cockpit, the interior flight was left unattended.
Conclusion, for parents who are hoping for the best experience for their kids, I suggest to plan the visit next year as they are improving their services...
Read moreMy kids were very excited when we told them we're going to Kidzania. it was all going well until we went to the electric department. We waited quite a bit but when it was finally our turn, the male staff in charge of my kids was not too friendly. Everything was okay and my kids said that they were making small talks with the staff when he asked them where they are from. When they answered we were from Indonesia, the staff immediately said "no wonder" in an unfriendly tone while staring at them with an annoyed expression. He handed my kids the essential items for the job but he seemed annoyed. He let 1 of my kid and 2 of my nephews to grab the ladder. They were really happy when they were in charge of the ladder at first, they were very careful and kind of slow because they were afraid they'd hit people with the ladder. Seeing this, that male staff looked even more annoyed and immediately took the ladder away from the kids. He started to walk very fast without even looking back to see whether the kids were still following him or not. When they arrived at the pole where you change fuses, they let 2 of my nephews climb up the ladder. Apologies from my side, one of my nephew (who climbed up first) jumped down from the ladder after removing the fuse, because of this, the staff got dragged a bit. We did scold my nephew a bit after this incident to make sure he doesn't do this kind of thing again. After this incident, the staff looked even more annoyed at my kids. When the kids were cleaning the essential items, the staff threw the rope to my daughter and it she complained that it hurts. After this, the staff grabbed the ladder and walked even faster, leaving my kids behind. When we arrived back at the electric department (after changing the fuse), the staff took off my nephews' suit harshly. We thought it would end here but unfortunately, we met him again at the DMV (driving school). My kids felt awkward with him at first because of the last incident but they still went it the driving school because they were queuing quite long for this activity. That same staff greeted the kids with an unfriendly manner. He assigned my kids and nephews to their seats. At first, they were confuse on how to do this driving test. Instead of explaining it nicely, he said some pretty harsh things to them. Such as "Can't you read? What a stupid child" with a very angry and annoyed tone. When 3 of them failed the driving test, he immediately shoo'd them away with an unpleasing manner. After my kids were done they complained again about how the staff was talking harshly to them. His behaviour in general after finding out we were from Indonesia was genuinely terrible. IF I COULD RATE THIS PLACE A -5, I DEFINITELY WOULD! Here's a picture of the staff who treated my kids horribly, IF YOU CAN'T WORK WITH KIDS AND HAVE A HORRIBLE TEMPER, YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO WORK THERE! Honestly, Kidzania in Jakarta is way better than the one here in many aspects, personally, I wouldn't even want to...
