Dave's Deli @ Atria Shopping Gallery — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

My first impression of the restaurant is that I love the design and layout of it. It gives you the american vibe of ordering food which is similar to subway. The variety of food here is a lot which mostly are american foods.

The carbonara roast chicken was decent and I'm very impressed with the chicken's size. Compare to other places such as KFC, Texas Chicken and Nando's, the size of the chicken is really big and taste great! However, the creamy carbonara is very typical and nothing too special about it. I wished it has more flavour and not too watery. The spaghetti however is a bit thin compared to the size of a normal strand of spaghetti.

I was not a favourite of the beef steak mushroom & gourmet pie because it has a sweet taste inside it which I don't know if it's supposed to taste like that. However, the mashed potatoes has a good texture and consistency. It taste better with the black pepper gravy!

Food variety - 4.5⭐ Typical halal western breakfast and lunch. The choices of flavour and type is not much but adequate for craving chop, pasta and bread.

Taste & presentation - 5⭐ Ordered the salted egg chicken chop and like it very much. The chicken is crispy on the skin while tender and juicy on the meat. Full meat of the chop and well fried. But was the French fries that catch my eye and stomach. It is not the same! As is it fresh cut and fried potato. The salted egg sauce also very rich in flavour. Just that the honey lemon too sour, did not taste the honey a bit

Portion & price - 4.5⭐ Price is consider medium to high but worth it. This is because the portion is quite many. They are generous on the fries and salad.

Atmosphere - 4⭐ At least clean but not too special. Half self service and little space.

Actually nowadays not much true western restaurant available in the mall. Many are rather cafe like which focus on the cake and coffee experience. This shop is worth...

Back for dinner. This time have the salted egg yolk chicken again and Hainanese chicken. Salted egg yolk still good, Hainanese Chicken so so only....

4 months ago Heard of Dave Deli a long time ago but did not have a chance to try them out. So finally tried them out. Have to order at the counter and they will send the food to you. Menu quite ok, we ordered mushroom soup with toast, their signature roast chicken (quarter) with 3 sides, Chicken pie, Fried chicken steak with salted egg. The chicken pie is text book chicken pie an old classic taste. The signature roast was actually so so only, but their salted egg sauce for the chicken steak was really good. Mushroom soup was good and the toast too. As for the sides, the roast vege was ok, the mash potatoes were a sticky gummy mash, but the coleslaw and fries were pretty good..... Service is fast and...
