We had a wonderful dinner at Fei Fei Crab PJ Restaurant. It was a family gathering, as our nephew from Sri Damansara invited us to join him, his mum and his younger brother.
The restaurant is cosy and cooling, with a spacious dining area and a lively atmosphere. It is popular for its crabs and other seafood dishes, as well as some local specialties. We were greeted by the friendly staff and seated at a large round table.
The lady captain came to take our order and gave us some good recommendations. She suggested that we try their signature crabs, which are cooked in various sauces and paired with fried buns. We ordered a few crabs in salted egg yolk, black pepper, and curry sauce, and a basket of fluffy buns to dip in the gravy.
We also ordered some other dishes to complement the crabs, such as steamed prawns, butter prawns, a steamed HK style Jenak fish, Kam Heong lala (clams stir-fried with dried shrimp, curry leaves, and chili), braised tofu, fried long beans, and fried veggies. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and delicious.
The service was courteous and efficient, as the dishes arrived promptly and the plates were cleared quickly. The prices were affordable and reasonable, considering the quality and quantity of the food. We paid about RM90+ per pax for the whole sumptuous meal, which was well worth it.
We thoroughly enjoyed both the feast and the company, as we chatted and laughed over the succulent crabs and the tasty dishes. We felt privileged and grateful for the blessings we received from our generous and hospitable relatives. It was a memorable night that we will cherish for a long time.
If you are looking for a place to have a satisfying seafood meal with your family or friends, we highly recommend Fei Fei Crab PJ Restaurant. It is one of the best crab restaurants in Petaling Jaya, and you will not be disappointed by their food or service. Just remember to make a reservation in advance, as the place can get crowded during peak hours.
We give Fei Fei Crab PJ Restaurant a rating of 5 stars, and we will definitely come back again for more crabs...
Read moreOriginally wanted to vote one star but ended up with two given that the restaurant/Grab refunded me despite going through some hassle.
My family orders from Fei Fei pretty regularly on Grab. Ordered a preserved vegetable soup today and I found a piece of plastic that could’ve been mistaken for tofu and accidentally ingested. Contacted Grab customer support, they said they couldn’t do anything and asked me restaurant. Given that the restaurant was negligible in preparation, shouldn’t it be the other way round?
I generally try not to leave restaurants with bad reviews as I understand that mistakes do happen in the kitchen despite everyone trying their best and they usually address the issue pretty quickly with me. However, in this case, they made me go through quite a bit of a hassle to “prove” that there was plastic in my soup. Grab insisted that I shouldn’t remove any foreign object from my food the next time something like this happens. That absolutely did not make any sense because if I didn’t scoop it out, how would you see it considering that it’s obscured while inside the soup?! The restaurant also called me and relaxed my asked if they could send new soup over. If I was dining in, it makes sense to replace the soup. However this was a Grab order so a quick refund on the affected item would have addressed it. Also the staff who called me did not seem to realise the gravity of the situation (someone may have accidentally swallowed the plastic).
If your restaurant was negligent, take ownership. If you didn’t realise you were negligent, that’s fine but offer your customer better support.

Read moreThe elder waitress was arrogant, I saw online review thought that they would have improve on services. Guess what , I still went there for twice , undoubtedly the crab , shrimp and vege was nice, but there are too much of pricing tactics on playing. (PLS ASK EVERYTHING CLEARLY BEFORE ORDER) The voucher was no use for 2 persons portions, as if you want to use the voucher then all the food will add on addtional Rm10 to 20. This is the worse part , for my first time ,We ordered 4 pots of crab which come with buns FOC, they come to us and call for billing , I didn’t check the bills which they additionally charge RM10 for 2 buns, I thought that they may have key in wrongly , A guy with wearing spectacles, bit chubby, seems to be like their supervisor still check our receipt 3 times then finally we got the refund but his face being like I owe him Rm100k My second visit (THIS TIME WITH RM38 discount vouchers that I mentioned above) then we didn’t choose to use the voucher as it is almost the same price without using it , okay ‘PRICING TACTIC’ after that I ordered two pots crab which the arrogant elder waitress told us is RM48 per pot without using voucher and RM68 WITH Using voucher ( im just like wow if I ordered two pot and other dishes why should I use voucher) THE VOUCHER IS USELESS Another “key in wrongly” happens, guess what the FIRST POT they charge us RM48 and SECOND POT charge us RM68, wow is this the way to having business or earned money? Is this the way this company treat...
