The Great Beer Bar — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

The atmosphere is great if you're into a good laugh with your friends and buddies. I mean the music is not played loud but the layout is still pretty cramped, thus you'll find yourself drowned by noises from other tables still.

The service is great, with the waiters being so attentive, partly cuz the place was never really packed.

The food is affordable/ slightly on the high side depending on your definition. We paid 39++ for ribs, 12++ for roast pork bowl . The beer on the other hand is quite so. I understand these are crafted beer (fancy term nowadays for self flavoured beer). But they are nearing 40 average for 330ml. Some do feel a little artificial not sure if it's the really so. Apologies if they are naturally so. The alcohol content is quite high though. Oh the food takes a little long to be served, about 20 minutes in general.

But it's a good opportunity to sample different beer and you'll get good recommendation along the way. I can't stop emphasising how attentive and helpful the waiters are.

Came in a group of 4 to have some craft beer and chat. I've been thinking of an opportunity to come here as I have seen them on social media on the range of craft beers they have.

They currently have a promotion, before 8 pm, 2 draft beer for RM 50 which we ordered. Both were distinct in taste and was good.

We also picked up a bottle of Melacca rice wine which was quite strong and had a sweet after taste.

The slightly low experience for me was when a waiter came to tell us that our choice of drinks would spoil our taste for the beer in a way that didn't sit right. I think it could have been worded better as a recommendation to have the beer first before the rice wine to enhance our experience.

I spent RM650 for these bunch of beers for a friend's birthday. I clicked and paid for them at beepit and gave them more than 4 days to check their stock. But no, they had to call me when the delivery person was at their door step. And called to tell me out of the 16 beers I ordered. 6 were only available. And blamed it on whoever updated the old stocks. So they called to ask me to cancel the 10 beers? In the end they replaced 10 beers with the same price. And this is what I got.
