Sat 6 Aug 2022 Decided to take a less than 8 minutes slow walk from our place to this budget eatery. We ordered and shared a servings of Penang Fried Kway Tiao and a hearty bowl of mixed minced pork and innards porridge. My wife also enjoyed her favourite half-boiled eggs. For drinks we share a mug of hot Milo Kosong. The prices of regular popular dishes are generally lower than other eateries. Service is both friendly and courteous.
This traditional Kopitiam is slightly hidden away from the two rows of shophouses along the main road entering Kg Cempaka. I met my friend while sending my wife to her new hair salon. We decided to go for a drink and chat session here. The place is airy and several stalls offering local favourites for breakfast, brunch and lunch are open. Few stalls for dinner and supper were closed. We ordered a cup of milk tea and chat for about 30 minutes. The service is friendly and fast. We noticed that the Fried Kway Teow stall is popular. Also, we saw some Buddhist literature are displayed for free or with any donations. Parking is not easily available here as there is a busy bank...
Read moreAn open air corner lot kopishop, no frill in decor but the place is pretty clean. Seating is comfy, airy and service is extremely friendly. There are few hawker vendors serving different types of local foods. The Teh O from the shop is pretty good.--4* The food from Brandy is really nice, CKT is the dry version and not too oily. If you are a fan of palpable wok hei and oily pork lards, it is not for you. I like the lighter version and the taste hits the spot. So yummy..if only they provide Siham.--5* The yam cake is aromatic, soft but with the right textures. The sauce is nice to compliment the yam cake. The prawn noodle has this prawn essence umami soup, not too authentic because it does not have dry shrimps and fried shallots. Pork slices can be thinner. Still, it is a bowl of satisfying prawn mee.--4.5* The fried rice is tasty, with the sweetness coming from Chinese sausages, there are few pieces of shrimp. But the rice they used is short grain like broken rices, so the bites texture is not that good. --3.5* Overall, 4.5* for me, will be back. The price is definitely affordable...

The fried kwek teow is one if the best i have tasted and still taste as good when cold. Other stalls offers like the chicken curry laksa, prawn mee and pork noodles are good too. Besides that, there are various choices fried noodles and rice in this place. Today i missed the packet of nasi lemak which was sold out, worth a try.....nice.
