KFC Sunway Mentari — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

There are so many reviews here about service and quality. That are all true, with remark that some of the things are out of the staff's control.

However, something that IS in control of the staff and BUT dont practice is basic courtesy. As usual, whenever we come here there will be 20-30 minutes wait for the chicken, that's fine as the staff will inform us upfront. However, when some items are sold out or not available, open your mouth and inform us. We will choose to continue ordering the same meal set, or something else.

Not only that, when the item is ready for collection, again you do not have courtesy to inform us that some items are not available and has been replaced with other item.

What am I going to do with so many coleslaw at home, if what I ordered was nuggets and cheesy fries? Imagine if you ordered several set consisting of chicken, nuggets, fries, wedges, whipped potato, and coleslaw, then when you arrived home, all you have are chicken, wedges, whipped potatos and extra coleslaws.

I would have taken another set which are available, or something that I am willing to eat. The least you could do is INFORM customer that some items are not available and you are replacing to another item!!!!!

Jan 2024 - Unsatisfied with customer service especially the attitude of the cashier. When I asked her to check my pickup, she ignored it and made a disgusted face. I will blacklist this branch from today onwards.

17th Aug 2024 - I thought things had improved after went to the restaurant last week as I can pick up my meal on time, so I ordered again today. I would love to record a video to show people how inefficient and clueless the staffs are in preparing food. Ordered my food at home at 720pm, estimated pickup time at 731pm and not getting it until 755pm, it's only 3 items in total (a burger, french fries and a drink). Poor system and management. I don't want to hear the staff apologize after a late delivery, but make improvements...

Really disappointing. Bring our kids just to have kfc (dine in). And they simply said no food. No chickens or anything. If we want have wait 25 mins. It was 8pm when we went there and the restaurant suppose close 11pm. And when we said ok we wait because our kids are excited for dine in, 1 malay staff show face and behave rude. Finally we take away and didn't have heart to dine in. Dear staff, nobody ask u to work there if u are unhappy. Pls do not show your attitude to the customer. And later We saw they simply Chasing all customer eventhough malay, chinese by saying no food. If no food why u open the branch????...
