The 88-acre park is constructed 150 feet below the surface on a mining wasteland and currently comprises 90 attractions distributed across six parks. From its humble beginnings, this iconic destination has evolved into a sprawling entertainment complex. Through years of dedication and innovation, it has garnered a reputation for delivering unforgettable experiences. The park's captivating attractions and thrilling rides have left a lasting impression on the memories of numerous visitors. Its commitment to providing exceptional entertainment has established its status as a cherished landmark. As it continues to expand and evolve, it demonstrates the power of imagination and the pursuit of leisure. The park offers intriguing rides, captivating shows, and a diverse range of dining choices. Whether seeking excitement or tranquillity, visitors are assured to have an unforgettable experience. Sunway Lagoon is a must-visit destination for both local and international tourists. From thrilling roller coasters to exhilarating water slides to an artificial wave pool, quad biking, bungee jumping, catapult, archery, and zip line, there is a variety of activities for each individual. Feel the thrill as you plunge down steep drops, soar through loops, and navigate twisting turns. Whether you are seeking an exhilarating experience or a thrilling adventure, the rides at Sunway Lagoon are sure to leave you breathless. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable day of amusement and excitement at this premier theme park. Delve into the fascinating world of a fascinating in-house mini zoo. Engage in diverse ecosystems and marvel at fascinating birds, animals, and fishes from around the globe. Examine the significance of conservation through educational exhibits and interactive experiences with their staff, who take people around the zoo explaining about the various species housed within. Connect with magnificent birds and animals in a more intimate manner and create lasting memories for the entire family. The only distressing aspect was they had a lion in their zoo and it's appearance, which was visibly malnourished and looked extremely thin. For a moment, I was wondering if it was a dog. I would like to request the management to take action regarding its condition. The theme park provides a diverse culinary experience to satisfy every individual's preference. It offers a wide range of local and international cuisines, from quick bites to substantial meals. There is something for every palate. The dining facilities are strategically positioned throughout the park. Fuel your adventure while you forge memorable experiences with sumptuous meals and refreshing beverages. Subway, Burger King, and Marry Brown are prominent establishments, and for those interested in Indian cuisine, I highly recommend Sagar Restaurant. This restaurant offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that are delicious and, if possible, do meet up with Mr. Harmeet Singh, a down-to-earth individual who owns the restaurant. The restaurant is located opposite Subway, near the water park. Guests have the option of purchasing single-day passes, multi-day passes, and annual memberships. It is strongly recommended that visitors purchase their tickets online in advance to secure the most competitive prices and avoid long queues. For the most current information regarding ticket prices and promotions, kindly visit the official website of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. Warm regards, Alan Woods

Subway lagoon is a sprawling park with a mix of experiences. We enjoyed our time, but also found it confusing. Pleased we went but would not rush back. Positively night park is included - basically the main parks (all except night) seem to be 10 am - 6 pm, but the night park goes to 11 pm. The night park is small but enjoyable. The last show in the night park (9:45 pm) was worth staying for. Went on a Monday & the place was busier than I expected. We had an express pass (if pre purchase make sure to remind ticket as we were not given until I queried, despite it having been paid for). The amusement park we found underwhelming. The 2 open “big rides” (the roller coaster was under maintenance) are very similar 360 rotation & both are slow (i.e. don’t swing but just slowly rotate). Did both once and never again. there were almost no queues on these at any time. Frustratingly, despite having a bag storage area during the rides, bags are not allowed. This was very inconvenient & applied very inconstantly - some were allowed, others not. my bag with a towel and change of clothes was not. Had go a 15 min round trip & pay for a locker to store this (was told we were not to leave it somewhere else - turns out this would have been fine). The water attractions are the main features. The vortex (funnel) slide by far the most popular. It is large (apparently world largest), but also very rough - the slide surface in the vortex has been repaired in multiple areas making it very bumpy. The queue for this was very long (30 min according to the sign). The express pass certainly made this faster. The express passes did not have any limits (i.e. could use as many time as wanted on any ride). I put money on my wrist band (incorrectly assuming this would be needed like many other parks). However this was just a pain, we only ended up using (or trying to) in the Night park. Of 3 places tried to use 1 worked, 1 tried but their scanner didn’t work, and a third didn’t know how to use it (and made no attempt to figure this out). Ended up having to get all refunded to cash so I could get food & drinks. Much of the x-park is additional fee, while flying fox is free it has a narrow weight limit of 40kg - 80kg. Bags were searched on entry. We had 1 reusable water bottle with water & this was not a problem (we could take it in). Worth a visit if like water parks & in the area. Not the best water park in South East asia, but probably has the most variety of activities & there is plenty to do. We ended up there 12 hours and while we repeated a lot of rides, we enjoyed it. I had no end of trouble trying to book direct, but found using a third party booking site much easier (well could actually book, their side always gave an unknown error).

Sunway Lagoon Malaysia has a total of six parks in it. Water park is really nice. They have made waterfalls, tunnel pools, cool slides, beach and wave pools. We really wanted to try slides but the queue was long beyond imagination. The worst part was the express entry. One can get express tickets with a higher payment to avoid standing in queues. Like we were standing and waiting for our turn and express ones would just pass by. This shouldn't be the case I think. Wildlife Park was very less wild lol. We could see only a few animals there like lions, tigers, bears birds and ducks. There was a lot of greenery but we were looking forward to seeing more animals. Then comes scream park/horror park. This should be changed to Laughter Park actually. Because there was nothing horrible thereinstead everything was funny. X-park was really nice. It had zipline adventure, paintball fight, bridge crossing etc activities covered. The amusement park had rides but it opened at 2 pm. We were engaged in other activities by that time so couldn't visit. Last is Lost Lagoon Park which is something like a maze. To save time we didn't visit it as well. We visited in the early morning. Park opens at 10 am and we were there by that time so were able to enter with lesser crowd and enjoy more. A better option is to first try the dry park area such as wildlife, scream and zipline. And then the water park as once you enter the water it's difficult to go out. Wave pool is only operational from 4:30 to 5:30 pm which is very near to closing time. One of the kiosks has chocolate waffles available which is a must try!! Pro tip: Get the locker in sharing to save money. We bought small bags so two couples got one small locker in sharing for 25 RM.

SH Incident at Sunway Lagoon and Poor Management As an international student in Malaysia, Sunway Lagoon has always been a go-to spot for tourists and group activities. However, my friends, a young child, and I were SH by a male staff member at Sunway Lagoon. And the management handled the incident poorly. Incident Details: At around 4 pm on the Cameron Climb water ride, a male slide operator inappropriately touched my friend and me, rubbing the soles of our feet with a disgusting smirk. After the ride, we witnessed a father confronting his son, who had also been harassed by the same staff member. The staff touched the child's private part. In just 10 minutes, three harassment incidents occurred. Management's Response: We reported the incidents immediately. Mr. G, the water park manager, assured us the staff member would be removed and CCTV footage reviewed. However, Mr. G lied about the father’s decision not to file a police report, which misled us into not pursuing further action initially. They promised to give us updates on how they will be handling the situation. But despite repeated attempts over several days to get updates from Sunway Lagoon, the management remained dismissive and unresponsive. Calls were not returned, no emails were received and when answered, we were given vague reassurances without follow-up. I hope this review serves as a warning to others. Please, be cautious and look after yourselves and your loved ones. No one should have to endure such a traumatic experience, especially at a place meant for fun and enjoyment. The management's handling of the situation was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Let's begin by the buying process. I bought 2 days pass along with Quack XPress, Deluxe Cabana and Night theme park only to realise that all entry tickets are already inclusive of the Night Theme park area since its all within Sunway Lagoon Theme Park so I hope you can learn from my mistake since it wasn't clear to me in the online purchase site. There's no need to print stuff in advance and they can accept mobile phone pdf. However it wasn't clear where one should queue for online purchase and it can get chaotic at site. I learnt that 2 day passes are at counters 12 and 13 only where they were much shorter. There's baggage checks before entry as they'll like to make sure you do not bring food and drinks in. We had our cabana at Malicove which was just in front of a gentle wave pool and quite ideal for us. The water theme play areas are definitely the mainstay within this park since there's more fun stuff/rides for water play than the other touted stuff such as Xtreme or leisure rides. Also very important to note that some rides require children to be minimally 1.4m tall. The Quack express passes definitely help save quite a bit of time in queues especially if you'll be visiting over weekends or public holidays. Place can get really crowded. We tried the animal area and that's also a fun place for children to experience petting and feeding animals. Staff at rides are mostly friendly. Prices for food and drinks are quite reasonable for a theme park and there's even a Starbucks within but they don't take SB card for some reasons. Overall you'll definitely wanna spend more time for wet rides and experiences whereas others can be done in a couple of hours.
