Saturday 3rd Oct 2020, 9pm. Ordered F01 and & F02, suppose to be their “thumbs up” items but both tasteless. Very bland as though eating plain shaved ice. Just wondering if they got the recipe correct? Ordered the plain Tau Fu Far also and the black sugar is so watery. Tau Fu Far texture is not smooth and just plain lumpy. Believe me you can get better Tau Fu Far from the roadside vans parked at SS2! Seriously, these were one of the worst desserts I have ever tasted!

Furthermore, there is no notice or whatsoever regarding their sitting system. After sitting down with entire family (one of us stood in line to order at counter) we were chased out because we didn’t follow their so called sitting system! How the hell would anybody know about your sitting system if we are first timers? Don’t you know how to put up a simple signage to tell people “Please Wait To Be Seated”??

Lastly, all their utensils were not washed properly before letting customers to use. All their spoons (ceramic and metal) had a layer of sticky sugar on them and were all placed on top of the counter for customers to use! I had to pour out all the spoons from the counter top containers to show the staff that every single spoon was dirty and coated with a layer of sticky sugar. I had to hand them the entire container of spoons to make them wash all over again! They even took the spoons to show the person-in-charge to try to figure out what the sticky stuff was!

WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. Not even if...

I should have read the reviews here before coming. It was our first time dining here. We specifically mentioned to the cashier guy that we’re dining in - and showed our MySejahtera. When ordered, he accidently tap on take-away. When my husband wanted to add in more order, the cashier’s tone was abit rude saying “sorry one second” to him. We let that slide.

After done ordering, we sat down and was expecting the number will flash at the pick-up station. Sad to say we waited almost an hour and it was in take-away packages. It was 9pm and there’s only 3 tables occupied. If they were attentive enough, they would realize that we didn’t get our order and ask. Our main purpose to dine-in was because we ordered shaved ice. The shaved ice melted and my husband had to ask to get a new one. We are from F&B service too and we understand customer facing can be tiring but it is part of the job. Kinda disappointed as it is not cheap, we spent almost RM50 (which is a lot to us). Regardless of how much you pay, this is not how you treat your customer.

At the end, yes the cashier guy came to us to apologize and mentioned that he accidently click the wrong tab. He asked for our phone number to give discounts on our next visit. But to be honest, we’re not sure if we want to visit this...

The cold taufufa is pudding? And the tapioca pearls are uncooked and stuck together. Below got some tips on how to cook boba from online.

Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a deep pot, and add the tapioca. Bring it to a boil again, cover, and turn the heat down to medium low. Cook covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. After 15 minutes, turn off the heat, keep the pot covered, and allow to sit for another 15 minutes. Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse under cold water. If the tapioca pearls still have opaque white centers, repeat STEP 1 and STEP 2 until all the tapioca balls are translucent. You may have to repeat a few times depending on their size. In the meantime, dissolve 3 tablespoons sugar into 1 cup warm water. Once the tapioca pearls are cooked, drain and rinse under cold water one more time. Then put them into the sugar water to prevent them from...

Was a bit confused on whether I was supposed to pour the side of soybean milk into the desert or drink it. Taofoofah was okay, but not exactly as silky as I'd have liked it to be. I liked that the sugar was put on the side for me to pour as much as I needed. The toppings were nice; taro, purple potato & sweet potato were good. Black sesame was the best for me as it tasted special. I wasn't a fan of the green tea / matcha ball, as it had too much of that 'rust smell' despite me being an avid matcha fan. Keep in mind that the taofoofah is served warm, so go with the shaved ice if you prefer something cold (I would have liked to have some cold taofoofah tho). The staff were really nice and helpful. Also, it might help to mention that the taofoofah is served warm as many are used to cold desserts. The soybean milk was good tho! Not too sweet, not too bland :)

Located in the bustling area of SS2, the establishment sells desserts. The interior wall is nicely painted with a beautiful art piece. The counter is also nicely done. However, the restaurant does some cooking, so there is some smell of frying. It doesn’t go well with a place for desserts. The restaurant is self-service. One has to go collect their own order. They do have a lot of staff though, and pretty unoccupied. One will need to take their own utensils. The utensils are wet and not very clean. Plain water is available for free. We tried the chocolate tau fu fah. It misses mark. The chocolate tau fu fah is not smooth. The taro is heated and clashes with the mildly cold tau fu fah. The chocolate is thick and sticky. It clashes in every way and is a taste one wishes to forget. A big pass for this one. Or at least avoid the chocolate tau fu fah.

Went to the shop at around 9pm. Didn't even have a local staff. All is foreigners. Order food at around rm 19. Saw there's a campaign where u can get a scratch card with mine RM20 spend. Add some topping to rm 22 since I'm already at RM 19. When pay, ask the cashier can use dine out to eligible the campaign, the cashier seen like don't know what is that. She ask person behind her ( don't know what they talking ) then the staff behind the cashier look at me , so happen I ask dine out. Then she answer yes. Then once I paid, she direct say oh, because use dine, not until RM 20, so can't join the campaign. I'm like .... ok la then.. not big deal.. but please, next time assign a person who really know malaysia language as cashier. Don't become like chicken talk to duck !
