This rating is purely on the kopitiam and not on the food/drink.
Visited on a weekday at 7am just to try the high rating curry laksa as its operating hours are 4-8am. Taste was below average and didn't taste like the usual curry laksa. Ingredients were not to my liking either they were like fish balls and minced pork at RM10 per bowl. Cham ping was good but not teh c (too diluted this round). During my last visit the teh c was kaw so it's a fluctuate standard.
Kopitiam's ventilation was already bad enough since it's all covered up (including the outside area) and the worse is they allow the mixed rice stall to fry and cook dishes with 2 big stoves (like tai chow fire) right infront of the kopitiam on the outside area which is covered up! The whole kopitiam (inside and outside) was full of smoke and oil. Although we sat outside area the smoke was unbearable and too stuffy. They should prepare the dishes at the back of the kopitiam like many places' practises. Will never visit this place again as we smelled like the dishes and felt oily all over our...

Very bad experience, we were queuing for our turn to place order, they just start to take orders, so the female staff take order for the 1st people in front of us... And then old uncle taking order for people who just formed another queue line. We were expecting they take orders from 2 lines then, apparently the girl take order from another line and abandon us. The person in front us got mad too and said Diu !!!! after the old uncle ask us to re queue again in another line which there were 5 ppl there already.
I talked to the old uncle that we were in the queue first and no one directed us to queue in the other line. He was left speechless 😶. We left and don't even want to try...
Read moreThose were the days, I used to come to this place for their dishes at the mixed rice stall. Another option here, I like the sweet 'tong sui', fried meehoon, fried mee, yam cake, you tao and chee cheong fun which is good for tea time snacks. Today, I discovered a new stall selling Hainese chicken rice.....it's delicious yummy. I especially like it because only 'kampung chicken' is sold here. Really like the lean chicken with nice chicken taste which we seldom get nowdays. You also can choose the fried chicken with char siew and roasted pork belly over the boiled chicken. All are equally good as well. Do request for a bit of char siew sauce over the oily rice, it does give the extra yum! 😋 { Wheelchair accessible though but no destinated handicapped...
