If you are there only for the roasted duck, it's really not worth the hassle. The roasted duck is fantastic, but the restaurant owner is probably the rudest waitress i have ever known. Mind you, the roasted duck is a stall in the restaurant which are owned separately. We waited 15 mins to order (this is before they knew we only wanted the roasted duck) when most of the table are already served and eating so idk what's the wait for. Fine. After finally getting her attention, we said we only wanted 1 side dish, 3 rice and 5 water to accompany the duck, she loudly and rudely "you only want a dish?" didn't wait for us to say anything, turn around and promptly "forgotten" to turn in our order. We know this because after waiting for half an hour for a dish, it didn't turned up and we already finished the roasted duck. We asked for it and then they confessed, so we decided to cancel the order as we are already full. When we asked for the bill, she literally shouted in front of the restaurant "what's there to count? They didn't even order anything". I was super tempted to leave, but we are not uncivilised like that so we just reminded her the rice and water still need to be paid. In which she charged us RM13 for it. After enquiring how the sum is derived, the price dropped to RM11. I'll let you do the math here cuz all I know is that they overcharged because they are bunch of arrogant bigots. If you want good roasted duck, i highly recommend Village Roast Duck, they do charge a little higher but the service is much better. Don't bother with other chinese restaurants in that area either, they are all arrogant shites (trust me I've tried them all).
Edit: only chinese restaurants are not worth trying, the other cafes seems pretty nice so give...
Read moreMy experience on 5/5/2019 I went there with almost 70+ friends and we sit at the no aircon dining area.
Dining area As mentioned we were sit at open area without air con, but the environment was quite windy so it's comfortable to sit there.
Parking Parking area there was quite limited especially dining time. You may go into area that requires parking fee(available until 11pm) if the free parking area is full.
Boss The boss was quite nice. The duckstall uncle was so friendly till he gave us 3 free ducks and it was out of blue 😍 (the ducks very 👍)
Main dishes The foods were nice and there is something need to take into consideration is that the food was quite salty, especially on egg, vege and chicken. We realised the food was salty during our last food testing and told the boss to make the dishes less salty but it seems not working out. But all in all, the food was nice.
Price The price for each food is reasonable and I suggest to increase the portion for each food cause it's not enough for everyone especially a table of 10 mixed with boys and girls.
Overall, the place was quite nice so I rate 4 stars. Hopefully this review may help you to get a clearer picture on this...
Read moreMyself and family have been regular for more than a decade. My parents have been bringing their own relatives outside from KL (Ipoh to Johor) to place for a good meal more than 2 to 3 decades now. And every one of them thoroughly enjoyed it. This place has been a regularly visited by family for multiple purposes & occasions from casual dinners to reunion dinners with relatives as well as hosting big occasions such as celebrating my aunt’s 80th birthday.
This place have been regularly visited by my family specifically because not only is food good & delicious (as authentic as you can get), but everything else about this place from the environment (casual Chinese restaurant vibe) to the pricing (pretty reasonable) makes it very suitable place for any kinds of purpose & use.
This is a must-go place and would definitely recommend it to anyone willing & interested to have genuine...
