This place is renovated and now it's spacious and clean. There are 40-50 dishes for you to choose from. And they provide tissues and washroom/ hand wash area as well. These are what I liked about this place.

On the other hand, I think their chef or cook must've lost their taste bud or something. Each of their dish is very very very salty, oily or sugary. Especially those dishes that you saw drenched in gravy or sauce, they are extremely salty. The free soup is also salty af.The only thing not salty is their water and chinese tea. Please do quality control that you claim you do on your videos/website so much.

Pricing is also another issue. I think the foreigner will charge you slightly cheaper than if a Chinese is manning the counter. If you take meat dishes then prepare to get chopped.

Yes the dining environment is quite comfy but the saltiness.....i can't recommend it...

I wanted to take away rice, drink and soup. The person in charge told me I was wasting his soup because I spilled some of the soup. The plastic they gave was soooo super small and soup was so hot. No plastic cup to hold the plastic, only bare hands. It burned my hand!! From the way he talked I know they are very stingy. want to do business also so stingy, I paid for the food. You guys can check it out, the plastic they give for take away drink and soup is so super small. Other mixed rice give bigger plastics. I used to frequent there and never had any issues until today he said something like that to me as a customer. If they give bigger plastic sure I don't have issues about spilling the soup. Food was ok just need to change bigger plastic for customer to take away soup and drink. We are your customer and you should say something nice or give a hand on taking...

A typical mix rice shop. Wish they would be more consistent in charging prices - for the same type of dishes (and roughly the same quantity), price varies from RM5.50-RM8.50. I think it largely depends on who is behind the check out counter.

Anyway, food taste is quite nice if you go at the right timing when the dishes are fresh out of the kitchen (between 11am to 12 noon for lunch). Good variety.

Comfortable environment. Thumbs up for the free soup and Chinese tea/ water. I hope the restaurant actually washes their tea canister- it tastes a bit funky.

Update July 2023: likely won’t visit this mix rice again- they need to look into hygiene of food. Notice that food also not very fresh....
