Salad Atelier (Megah Rise) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I’m long time customer of Salad Atelier, which I eat almost daily on Grabfood. I enjoy their healthy food so it pains me to leave a negative review on this particular branch. There’s been bad service from the staffs. One don’t even know where to press on the ipad when taking orders, told me one price then suddenly change the price rm3 more after talking to the another staff.

The 2 male staffs hardly understand any Malay/English and are extremely rude when asked question. Only the petite female staff is serving well. Hope they will improve the service quality 🙏🏻

EDIT (30/07/2023): Ordered on Grabfood and it's been shrunk down a sizeable portion. I use Grabfood on Salad Atelier (both this and Paradigm's branch) almost daily and know the portions very well. The beetroot got cut short from 6-7 pieces normally to 3 pieces today and the other ingredients' portion dropped at least 40%, just because I ordered 2 meals at once they thought it's sensible to make both meals smaller? 🥗 Impressed by their reasonably priced healthy food that comes with reasonable portions. The flavoring was excellent, and all the fruits and veggies were fresh. I particularly enjoyed the fragrant and sweet mango, the ripe avocado, and the flavorful chicken. However, the brown rice was a bit too dry for my taste.

🥣 I did have some confusion about which sauce to pour onto which dish since I ordered three different bowls. It would have been helpful if they included the sauce containers with the food so that I could easily match them up.

🥑 Additionally, I was slightly disappointed to find some missing ingredients, especially the edamame. I understand that ingredient availability can vary, but substituting edamame with something like cucumber/carrot/corn etc. didn't seem justified given the price charged (I don't mind if it was substituted by extra chicken xd). I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure that the bowls are served as described...

Updated review: 2 ⭐️ Already wanted to give negative review some months ago when they changed new group of staff. These new group of staffs are all lazy and super slow motion. Whenever you ask/talk to them during your order, they will always give you a stare in the look yet they can’t communicate well enough. Previous group of staffs were so friendly and hard-working, especially the foreign worker manager who can speak chinese he was very enthusiastic at work.

Since few months ago after change of staff, they always “forget” or intentionally do not put in the fish roe (tobiko) in my salmon salad probably keep it for themselves. Today my smoked duck cheese wrap is like vegetarian wrap in every bite until only 2 small pieces of duck at my last bite. I’ve been having this wrap for a long time, the normal portion is usually 5-7 slices.
