In short. This was the worst lunch meal i have had for 2017. Just wanted something quick and easy, nothing complicated. We ordered a simple- completely drenched green salad with month old in the freezer aritificle crab sticks. A chawanmushi with ikura that smelled so fishy it was unpalatable. My wife ordered a "cant f**kup grilled saba shio with white rice, the fish smelled like 3day old socks but at least the rice was cooked well. I ordered a cha soba, i think the cook was trying hard not to overcook the green tea noodles but result was undercooked, cruncy like texture with a underwhelming dipping sauce of raw quail egg, few pieces of dried seaweed and was served in such a large size bowl it consumed almost 1/2 the space of the dining table. The worst dish was the "dragon roll"--prawns in the middle was undercooked and was sent back. When the replacement arrived, the prawns were slightly cooked further but by then me and my wife has lost our appetite. Called for the bill and highlighted our dissatisfaction to the inexpierenced filipino waitresses.

Service were friendly at best. First and last time for us to enter this restaurant. Total bill came up to rm126.00...

The food is ok, but it has really bad service.

First, I waited 25 mins for a chicken karaage takeaway, there were only 2 people dining in!

Second, they put a 1pay QR code on the counter, and I paid using 1Pay, payment has been received and they had no clue. The cashier and the boss said they only put that up for 1card users to collect points. Hello, that is a 1Pay QR code, you as a merchant, u put up the QR code, you gotta expect people to start using it! This restaurant has been around for a few months and you have no idea how the 1Pay works? Do you realize it’s 1U territory here? Then they told me there’s no such thg, padahal payment is through, then what do you expect? You expect me to make another payment? It’s impossible what. If you don’t know how to use the account, ask the PIC of 1 card not me! Then, you asked me to cancel the payment? Does that make any sense to you? You think you cn buy anythg and cancel payment? Eventhough the food is ok to me, but I’m...

pursposely visit again after 2 days ago, food is delicious, but need to tolerance with the service. 1st visit, the tables around me was empty, we place order and wait for 30 min, then sudden realize the surround tables has been engaged and start enjoy their food.

2nd visit, same place order and wait, after 10 mins, 2 customer sit at next table and place order, another 10 mins they start eating the food which same as my order. all the response i got from waiter was, food is coming, food is coming.

maybe u guys may say i better stay home, but i just cant stand being treat like nothing for twice...

I had a fantastic dining experience at Takashi. I ordered the Kai-Zen box, which was not only delicious but also affordable at RM25.90. The box includes a wonderful selection of mini bowls: fresh sashimi, smooth chawanmushi, savory saba shioyaki, and flavorful garlic fried rice. Every component was well-prepared and very tasty. Beyond the food, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and inviting. It's a great spot for a satisfying and reasonably priced Japanese meal. Highly recommended!

I asked for vegetarian options & the owner improvise the chawanmushi for me.. silky & flavorful, best of all no stock cube/msg is used..I don’t experience thirst post meal.. cha soba is generous in portion, with grandeur setting. Lack of aroma & flavor in dipping sauce however.. also the portion of seaweed is too little to be shared among the large amount of noodles.. I’ve also tried their tamago.. lack of aroma & flavour from eggs but sweetness..

Gave a rating of 3 out of five as it’s definitely not a below par restaurant. Plus points are service was tentative with a relaxing clean environment. Food was acceptable as there is not much to complain for the price paid. We liked the fried salmon salad and fried cheese chicken. The portions were good. Ke-Ke Udon was so-so only as it was too little and broth was bland. That being said, my LO likes them. Will return.
