Bar Favourites with A Local Flair
First off, this is a review on their delivery service and not their dine-in.
Traditional bar food tends to pivot around finger food or all time favourites such as bangers and mash. But today, we came across a more adventurous bar which decided to experiment with finger food adding a touch of local flavours.
Service: We placed the order via a third party app which was pretty straight forward.
Packaging: They arrived in pretty standard take-away boxes
Pork Curry Mantao (RM 24)
An interesting dish which stood out amongst the rest on the menu. Something we did not expect to see especially in a bar. The Man tao could have gone wrong in so many different ways especially in a delivery service. However, we were pleasantly surprised as the Man tao was a beautiful golden brown. It was crusty and slightly crunchy on outside yet soft and fluffy within. The pork was very tender and curry was extremely fragrant and flavourful with aromatic spices. It was a little spicy which gave the dish a nice bite.
Recommended? It was a simple yet heartwarming dish in the cold monsoon weather

But it does serve it's purpose as a great meeting point for residents and people who don't want to have to tussle with parking woes and walking long distances.
On the 1st floor of Centrepoint sits two restaurant/lounges side by side - Granite is one of them. It's a very stylish room, with a large bar that greets you the moment you walk in.
Inside, seating can seem to be a little cramped when it gets full, but still comfortable enough without knocking into chairs around you. Outdoor seating along the balcony is also available, though quite limited in number. The food menu offers western snacks and meals, and drinks are more the focus than anything else.
Prices are very reasonable and there is a happy hour every...
Read moreI visited this restaurant on a Monday evening and my first impression wasn’t the best. As soon as we stepped inside, the air was heavy with cigarette smell, which was off-putting. We almost turned around, but then noticed they had a balcony area. Thankfully, the balcony was much more comfortable, with a light breeze and no strong smoke smell, so we decided to give the place a try.
The service, however, was on the slower side. With fewer than five occupied tables, I expected quicker attention, but it took some effort to get the two staff members to notice us. That said, once they came over, they were polite, friendly, and tried their best to be accommodating.
The food was average overall and didn’t leave much of an impression, though the mushroom soup was decent. A comfortable spot if you’re looking for a quick, casual meal, but don’t expect anything too...
