Utama Farm Prawning — Attraction in Petaling Jaya

Been coming here for months, today was really dissapointing.

Rm25 bait just to get 1 long worm. Not like last time.

Prawns small this time.

All those hours and can't even order drinks like we use to. Reasons is kitchen not open yet. That was during lunch hour not early in the morning. Just asking for drinks. Not food.

When added only 3 to 4 at a time , poor first time experience for the new comers as well. As a regular I think this is my last to come after all this.

Usually whatever we caught from the pond they add till its 1kg at least.

Paid rm220 for FISHING the DAMN SMALL 6 PRAWNS.

Since first few times here, a lot has change. They manage to upgrade everything, but man power, prawns, pricings, starts to get dissapointing.

We had 4 person, 2 person took the river prawn package and 2 took tiger prawn for 2 hours. Total was MYR 323 including x1 bait.

River prawn package can fish as well but would not recommend as you still need to pay for the fish so we just returned.

Just take the tiger prawn one if you just want to have fun.

Dont recommend if you cant stand hot and humid.

Pros can ask kitchen to cook for you depending on the weight (can choose style from menu) very nice aunty who help you to cut and put the worm as bait at the entrance

Cons no aircond chair is old only a few wall fan, 1/2 not working so it was humid no bait given, had to buy 2 long...

Priced at RM35 per hour, fishing rods are provided. Bait of earthworms are sold at RM5 per box. Friendly staff who was willing to share tips and assist whenever needed (how and where to place the bait, how to place the bait onto the hook etc). The shrimping pond is quite small but they do have a mantis prawn opening soon right next to the shrimping prawn.
