✨ Thai Spot – SS2 Hidden Gem for Thai Food Lovers! ✨

Tucked away next to the quiet housing lanes of SS2, Thai Spot has been serving up authentic Thai flavors for over a year now – and let’s just say, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep going back to.

🌿 Ambience No frills, no fuss – the vibe here is simple, clean, and minimalistic. Don’t expect fancy décor, because the focus is clearly on what matters most: good food and good company. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where families gather, friends laugh over tom yum, and regulars get their Thai fix without burning a hole in their pocket.

👩🏻‍🍳 Service The staff here are absolute gems – polite, humble, and super attentive. They’re quick on their feet, accommodating to your requests, and always serve with a smile. That alone makes dining here a pleasant experience.

🍲 Food This is where Thai Spot shines. Their menu is stacked with authentic Thai dishes – think flavorful appetisers, fresh and tangy salads, hearty mains, and the must-have tom yum soups that pack just the right punch. From stir-fried veggies to pork dishes (yes, they serve pork, so not halal), every plate comes in generous portions perfect for sharing.

🥤 Drinks & Desserts Cool down with Thai milk tea, lime tea, coffee, or even Thai cham. If you’re feeling light, the lemongrass pandan water is refreshingly good. Don’t skip the Thai desserts either – they’re a sweet ending to your spicy feast.

💰 Price Reasonable, especially considering the big portions. Great value for money – your tummy and your wallet will both thank you.

📱 Extras Lazy day at home? No worries – they’re also on GrabFood and ShopeeFood, so you can get your cravings sorted without leaving the couch.

⭐ Verdict If you love authentic Thai food, this spot deserves a place on your must-try list. Thai Spot SS2 is proof that sometimes the simplest places serve the best meals. Highly recommended – and yes, I’ll definitely be...

Price ,service atmosphere all ok 👌 Worth visit ,but the taste for me was not ok ,

Pork quality 👍fresh and no smell Portion just nice 👌 Just the sauce was too sweet, the chef 100%not Thailand chef he put so much sugar for pork leg rice ,luckily chili sauce still got a little bit spicy and salty. The sauce sweetness very close to “dimsum sweet sauce” can you imagine that 3/10

Minced pork rice 5/10 Mid Same thing too sweet , too much sugar I don’t know how ,but this is not Thai food taste like..it’s more like Malay-Thai food.

I believe the owner still adjusting their food and others,i saw his change(eg:metal plate) after customer complained about it ,he does listing to what customer said ,

Really hope PJ can have some Good Thai pork leg rice for me to eat ,I tried many’s but still can’t find any similar to “random thai street aunty taste” I’m sorry for giving such comment 🙏🏻🙏🏻 but i really craving for what I taste in Thailand Came here purposely to eat this ,just...

My son and I thaught the food was probably the best non-halal Thai food we have had in PJ/KL so far. Value for money. The decor is very minimalist and you would not think you were in a Thai restaurant.... It has more of a cafeteria/coffee shop vibe but very clean and air-conditioned. We did not have to wait long for the food, which was great as we were starving. There is ample street parking right infront of the restaurant and the portion of the mango sticky rice, is big enough for 3pax to share!! And it was so good that my son and I polished it! Pandan chicken was juicy, not dry and the deep fried salted egg squid was just perfect! Service was pleasant and the only downside, was that it isn't wheelchair friendly as there are steps in front. Hopefully that will b addressed soon. So for a restaurant that has only been around a year, we'll done!! The owner (I think) has Thai blood, so it's not surprising that the food...
