The Bund - PJ Bar — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I was 1st visit here 1month ago by accidentally which i got cancelled by another restaurant for my reservation. So just want to grab some food i was pop up out of nowhere. But once i entered the door, omg the design was super grand and i tot i m at any top graded 5star hotel. So i took a lot of pictures, those servers just waited to serve me so patiently. They even shown me their vip rooms w karaoke... explained everything i m curious for. Both of the managers were top notch! Food was great (food Can be warmer) service more than perfect and comparable to 5 star hotel even the toilet was sparkling! BUT their band was super disappointed n upset, it was nothing close w the whole concept, services or whtever, sound system need to remap too. Or else it will be my daily hangout joint even though i live far. Anyhow i still visiting them every week since last month just to enjoy the high value lunch set till 5pm and their service! Long lost in the f&b industry, everyone was so passionate and keen i mean EVERYONE there! Especially Gulfam! He probably the diamond in the outlet! I hope their business pick up fast w huge improvement on the bands and sound system....please! So it can be no reason not...

Visited on Christmas day and it was a HUGE MISTAKE! The food served in 2 hours and it doesn’t even taste good. The services are horrible, they ignore you even when you have raised your hand and voice. I have waited for half an hour to get my spoon and fork! Imagine a Fish and Chips without mayonnaise and lemon! WORST FOOD EVER! The portion does not worth price at all. They don’t even have a proper menu for non-alcohol drinks/ cocktails, when I asked for suggestions, the waiter behaved so impatient. They put my table at a corner where I almost stick to the wall (blind spot where I don’t even get to see the stage) I have made reservation earlier and this is what i get? Even people with no reservation have a better yseat. I am sharing my bad experience to instagram about this...

Atmosphere and live band ambient was great and amazing when entered. However, I was told by waiter that each table has minimum spending when I tried to order a normal drink. And they didn’t mention about it when I made reservation via phone call earlier. Most of my friends can’t drink alcohol which impossible to hit the minimum spending and I asked the waiter to release the table to others and about to leave. Then the waiter came and told me no minimum spending then. I felt so unfair when the few table around us just ordered normal drink and also impossible to hit the minimum spending. The thing that disappointed us were the food serving slow and we asked for make payment in the half way before all food...
