I recently visited Nasi Lemak Royale Kedah for dinner and was impressed by their mamak offerings. The rice had a distinctive, aromatic spice blend, though the amount of cloves used was a bit excessive. The mixed gravy was mildly spicy, so if you're not a fan of heat, it’s best to ask for it on the side. The Maggi Goreng was a standout, with its high-heat cooking giving it a deliciously dry and charred texture. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, making it a comfortable choice for family meals. However, keep in mind that you need to order and pay at the counter, as there is no table service. Overall, it’s a great spot for flavorful dishes if you don't mind the ordering process.

Heard so much about this restaurant which His Majesty the King and his entourage had their lunch there not long ago. So I decided to stop by and get some food to take away. The food we had was simple but filling. The nasi lemak was yellow in colour but it was soft and tasty like the nasi lemak we were used to. We had sotong (squids), fried chicken, fried fish steak and veggies (cabbage and ladies finger). Although the rice and veggies portion were small it was adequate for two persons to enjoy. The restaurant was clean and located in the chic Bazaar@8 in Precinct 8 Putrajaya amongst many trendy eateries in that area.

Was actually hungry and looking forward to a kambing meal and at 3.30pm had to queue to get the yellow rice. I got a rather small piece of kambing, but their size is all the same, pair it with peria goreng and cost me rm12.20 add on a teh o panas and the bill became rm 15. Wow teh o panas is rm 2.20, i guessed it is because this is the T20 area of putrajaya Food looks ok and fine but was not acceptable. Nasi kandar type of curry should not be sweet laa In fact it is too sweet, then it ruined my whole expectation. Sorry boss, your staff deserved the stars but not your food.

came here cuz i saw a tiktok of YDPA stopping by to order and was curious. Service is fast and friendly. cashier was smiling and warm. but you order drinks at the drink counter and collect it yourself like a school canteen. a bit odd. very very sloppy serving as well. just dripping curry off the plate (see photo). the atmosphere is comfortable with standard food court style furniture. but the food is really poor unfortunately. average mamak food is better, most roadside stall nasi lemak also better. price is okay, around rm10 per pax. a lot of other places to get better food.

Lauk nasi kandar but with nasi kuning kedah. Tasted okay tapi kuah sangat manis. Ayam goreng was quite good as they are soft and succulent on the inside. We arrived around 12pm and only got to the serving station at 1pm. A 1-hour of queuing was a major letdown and after that you’d have to queue somemore for the drinks. Price was a bit on the expensive side. This was our first time here and considering the long waiting time, high price and mediocre taste (compared to other nasi kandar/nasi kedah joint in Klang Valley), this will definitely be the last.

Very nice and great nasi kandar restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the name. This restaurant sell nasi kandar not nasi lemak. But the nasi kandar is so delicious I’m not kidding. The place is clean and spacious too. The service is fast eventho you need to queue a bit. Recommended
