Hello, I’m zal and here’s my review on Inara Cafe at 2/10/2024
Atmosphere: The ambiance at the Inara Cafe is truly enchanting. With its lush greenery and natural light, it feels like a serene escape. The decor features a mix of plants and cozy seating, making it perfect for relaxation or catching up with friends.
Services: The service at Inara Cafe is attentive and friendly. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu. They’re eager to help with recommendations for drinks or snacks and care if you're interested. Plus the staff outfit, STYLE THOO AHAHAH. Got anak anak senja vibe, im not keseorangan HAHHAHA.
Prices: Prices at Inara Cafe are reasonable given the quality. Coffee and tea options range from Rm13+ to Rm16+ while food items like pastries and light bites typically fall between Rm14+ and Rm18*. Food prices vary but are generally fair for the quality provided.
Food and Drink: The menu features a variety of coffee drinks, from classic lattes to unique seasonal specials Like rose flavoured latte. The Strawberry lemonade also nice. The coffee is rich and flavorful, made from ethically sourced beans. The food offerings include fresh pastries, local food, also international menu. Everything is good and made with quality ingredients.
Staff: The staff is one of the cafe’s standout features. I love their style, creating an engaging atmosphere. Whether you need help choosing a drink or learning about coffee, they are approachable and enthusiastic.
Overall Experience: Inara Cafe successfully blends the joys of good coffee with the beauty of nature. Read moreI visited Inara Cafe for a takeaway order and had a rather disappointing experience with the service. Upon arriving, we were told to sit anywhere while waiting for our food. The place was nearly full, so we decided to sit at a large table that was available.
Shortly after, a medium sized family group walked in for dine in. A male staff member seemed to be looking for a place to seat them, and my friend mentioned that perhaps we should move to free up the larger table. We were more than happy to accommodate and got up voluntarily again, without any guidance or acknowledgement from the staff.
However, as we were moving to a newly available two person table near the cashier, several staff female and male members which i believe they're waiters, began laughing loudly while watching us. It was incredibly awkward and unprofessional. We moved out of consideration and received no gratitude or apology, just laughter. The staff didn’t assist, guide us, or even acknowledge courtesy. They simply continued about their tasks, laughing and walking off to the kitchen.
This behavior left a really sour impression. At a busy time especially, staff should be leading and supporting customers, not leaving them to figure things out alone, certainly not laughing at them. It’s basic professionalism to treat patrons with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation.
If this is how you treat customers who go out of their way to make things easier for your team, then it’s a serious issue. Management needs to step up, train the staff properly, and take this kind of behavior...
Read morei’m a first timer and i will NOT repeat this experience. i was really excited to try their chicken tenders so i came at 1pm on a friday to find that they’re closed bcs of friday prayer.. i would be okay with that IF they actually inform the short closing period on social media or on google but ZERO information was given about the short closing period.
next, one of the worker told me that they will reopen at 2pm so I decided to wait at a nearby cafe but when I came back at 2pm, they said that they reopen at 2.30pm??? okay that’s fine i waited for another half an hour.
my breaking point was when i went to order, THE CHICKEN TENDERS WERE SOLD OUT??? i beg the management please can you guys update on social media if a menu is sold out because i was bummed out, felt like im wasting my time. i also ordered the chewy brownie with vanilla ice-cream but for rm16?? not worth it at all the brownie is mid.. i recommend the dessert chefs to watch khairul aming’s brownie recipe to improve.
overall my experience was very disappointing. i hope this cafe can inform your customers of your short closing period on social media as a first-timer like me would really find it useful. i also think that this cafe should maximise the use of social media by informing their customers what menu is already sold out for the day so no one will have a bad...
