Wine Lab — Restaurant in Sarawak

Very messy wine counter, manager should learn how to organize the space. maybe i am wrong since it's a wine lab? too many wine on testing sitting on counter? Feel unhygienic/not pleasant scene for such a nice setting in such a pleasant community area in my POV as customer? could be my problem. Take it or leave it.

2 times experience when i wanted to have wine in the premise, the manager need to ask the customer in-house for approval by turning himself to customer using eyes contact.

This happen on 1st time when 3 customer inside and 2nd time a group of 8 customer inside.

Manager need to learn and improve in customer service. The waiteress keep apologies when i voice my concern which i think she can be a better candidates to run the store. Lots f&b service manner improvement needed for male manager, especially don't make your customer like they are not welcome by not answering my question, can we dine in and turning urself to your in house guest asking for approval for my existence to sit down.

However, the shop have a Good wine selection but i will never return to this place after given 2nd chance.

my suggestion, if you are just open to sell wine for take away, always inform your incoming patron there's no dine-in service available.

1st Experience with corkage fee is par for service given such as space, glass, wine decanter n environment. which is normal for wines shop.

2nd experience no corkage fee? but nope that not the reason for treating your customer in your own manner,

he know that i am not happy tonight? lol when having half way/bottle i decided to leave perhaps he know i am not delightful on the service?

You are doing retails biz

with no sights of private fuction in house hang on the door.

When we walk in, the manager sceptical to serve but no explanation, he need approval from the group in house for our dine in.

constructive criticism change your manager or send him for training treating whoever coming from the front door a decent individual with manner or change the biz...

Nice, classy, cozy corner. They have a variety of wine selection. Space is limited therefore calling in advance is highly recommended. Staff was very helpful and polite. Owner is very friendly.
