Restaurant Wan Lau — Restaurant in Selangor

The service attitude is super bad. We ordered our dinner and drinks an hour ago, and ordered 7 dishes and 1 soup. It is normal to wait for 15 minutes, right? The restaurant staff made us wait almost 1.5 hours, we went to talk once, he said "wait a minute, it's almost done". OK, let's wait. After a few minutes, we went to speak again, and he said "wait, it's almost done". After saying it three or four times, he couldn't help it anymore. We complained again, and he said, "I don't know who you have canceled." If we cancel, will we wait there for 1.5 hours? Will you go and ask again and again? Finally, the dishes came, and the staff even showed us their faces. Hey, it's not that I said that I waited 1.5 hours to be great, it's the attitude of the staff in this restaurant, they won't even say sorry. I won't be back...

We ordered signature salted baked crab. We are quite excited to try the crab since this is their signature dish and got quite good review on xiaohongshu but when the dish come to us, we can only use DISGUSTING this verb to describe. The crabs was never clean thoroughly.! First bite of the crab. EWWWW full of sands and muds. Crab gills and hearts were still inside the shell!! As we all know, crab gills and heart cannot be consumed even cooked. I doubting whether their chef have this knowledge. We confronted the boss and he said they do brush and clean the crab but some of the sands and muds were stuck in the shell, its very hard to clean. He even told us no one is eating the shell, so there wont be any problem with this. To all the consumers, if you would like to trauma towards crab, please do go to...

Food: The butter crabs were tasty and it was just nice, not too salty. However, other dishes were quite salty, I have no idea why though...

Hygiene: Not in the best condition as I expected. Some people might not be able to accept it. Toilets are okay for me, just a little bit smelly and don't expect to poop inside the toilet 😖😂

Price: The best selling point of this restaurant I guess? We had like 5 dishes for 8 people (8 bows of rice) including crabs (1kg for RM75), total was only RM165. Superb! We didn't expect to get such price from a local seafood restaurant.

Workers: Friendliness was great. Very polite and patient when taking orders from us. They provided us a receipt for price of each dish.
