Restoran Cha Po Tion — Restaurant in Selangor

1st time visiting but the overall experience isn't great. It's a shaded open space dining area, we have no issue with that. The problem part started from food ordering. When we asked if menu is available, the girl who attended to us say no hardcopy of menu, everything is via QR code. Fine. She didn't provide QR code at the table, but the QR code were sticked at 4 corners. As we were at the middle table behind, so we walked to one corner to scan. Fine. When we thought this should direct us to a decent online menu, oops, no, it directed us to their FB page with a browsing section. The photos in that section were quite limited, so we ended up having no clue what to order for a 'seafood restaurant'. We asked the girl again for recommendation. Yes, food selection is quite limited. We ended up ordering fishball soup, steam fish, a stir fry vege & salad mantis prawn for 4 of us. The food is pretty average, nothing commendable though. The price is cheap, RM102 inclusive of 4 rice and tea.

The place was kinda clean. We had 6 tables out of 14 tables. So it made everyone else wait. I don't think the Queue for their food justify. Its okay food. Nothing really out of this world. Steamed big prawns was fresh prawns as in the shell comes off with one swipe. But zero flavour. The baby prawn with curry leaves.. hmm like that la. The shark meat soup signature was okay. Boiled with chili pads which makes the hot day hotter but I personally think its a cheap short cut for flavour. They only serve fish fillet and no whole fish. It was fresh but flavour also so-so. Not many place that you can have seafood feast at breakfast hour, here is one of the available place in Sekinchan. Came here as recommended by teoshenghuat, they told can bring the seafood bought there for cooking here. Ok we did some google research and decided to give it a try. Generally not feeling disappointing but nothing extraordinary and in fact the service is below average as being mentioned in many other reviews so I will just skip the stories, mine are similar stories.
