McDonald's Batu Caves DT — Restaurant in Selayang Municipal Council

We were excited to join the Crispify Your World programme and chose to go through the drive-thru at this branch for convenience. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant.

When we asked if we could redeem the Ayam Tenders (Hari Raya promo), the staff at the order window responded rudely with, “Pergi depan je bang” — not the kind of customer service we expected from McDonald’s.

To make matters worse, the Crispify Your World card was missing from our order. We had to return to the branch to clarify, defeating the purpose of using the drive-thru. A staff member, who seemed to be the manager, tried to avoid the situation by walking away and asking another colleague to “bagi je la” (just give it to them). We were then questioned again as if we were at fault.

It’s disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and courtesy. We joined this programme for fun but ended up frustrated. This experience makes us question how well staff are trained to deliver the level of service...

Went to this restaurant after a visit to batu caves. There were five of us, and we ordered 5 meals. After a very lengthy wait our food finally arrived. Upon checking the food, the fries were cold, not warm, but actually cold like they have cooked and kept for a long time. When I asked the girl who bought the food, she seemed puzzled at my request to change the fries to hot ones. When I asked her why was that a problem? She insisted she had to call the manager to change the fries. The food was still on their counter I hadn't taken it to my table. She then attempted to find the manager without success after a further wait, with no sign of the manager, and remaining food getting even more colder i just took the food and left, the fries ended...

First time leaving a review here! I randomly stopped by this McDonald’s to do some office work while waiting for a client nearby and honestly, it was a really nice experience. I noticed quite a few people using the space for meetings or work spot.

I ordered a drink from McCafé, and it came with a simple note that said “Have a nice day” such a small gesture, but so thoughtful and something I haven’t experienced at other McCafés.

There was also a male staff member serving food upstairs,he was extremely polite and gentle with every customer. It really stood out to me. Toilet was clean too, though the kids in the play area were quite noisy with random shouting, that’s the only...
