Chennai Spice Express — Restaurant in Sepang

I did a review before telling you how good the food was. I seldom go here now and i go to pelita. The reason for this is, i feel that the food is tasteless but do not judge them as it maybe for me not for you. The food is always the same and i have eaten everything they have to offer in terms of rice dishes. But i still go there as they have nice coffee and breakfast offering is good. Their dhall for roti canai is nice compared to other places i have eaten in cyberjaya. All i can say is they need to improve on the flavour of the food and i thing they put less salt and the quality of the food needs to looked into as well. Overall yeah still a good place to go but i now prefer pelita because their food is consistent though same and they do have one or two different dishes monthly but the others things are same...

The first time I order Maggie goreng and it was served with a hard like stone tauhu. The tauhu is so hard because it's old tauhu. Therefore I had to return it and ordered other dishes. The second time when I went today to try their rice dishes and was again disappointed because the crab that we took is very cold and salty. ghee rice is also salty. The place near the had wash area was full of water on the floor and my mom and I told a few staff to clean it. No one clean it. My mom almost fell due to the water when she went again to wash her hands.

The staffs there are not friendly and rude in serving people. They really don't have sense of service. Not sure whether I'll go there again because of such a bad service.

Only thing nice is the ambiance. Otherwise the food is cold and staffs are rude...

I have been a frequent customer for years in all Chennai outlet even the recent open one in Puchong. But today will be my last day. This employee is the rudest ive met in all F&B. Politely Asked him to wipe the dirty table but glared at me and end up didnt wipe it and had to eat with a dirty table. Just throw the plate of food the table when serving, I dont even do that to my pets. Kept on glaring at me throughout the dining time as if i owed his bloodline some debt. Good job in training your employee, Chennai. Visible rats at outdoor seating, cockroaches too imagine the kitchen area. No wonder they are graded B for cleanliness.
