Food was alright. The menu cover reads Lunch Menu. And we went there for dinner. Interesting food include yam ring which is usually found in vegetarian restaurants. Thumbs up for that addition. I tried the Fried Mee Suah. It was alright but not amazing. Soya skin was on the menu, I think it was fu-chu fried. But, was told no longer available. The restaurant needs to update the menu, create new dishes with interesting taste / flavour. Taste was flat. A bit too predictable, maybe the chef has become bored. Who wouldn't with unimaginative same old, same old? Many items are not available anymore but still on the menu. Less is more here, easier for the kitchen and more fun to eat for customers. For a start they can introduce 1 new item each week to test / research the market. It is challenging times with less people eating thereabouts due to foreseen & unforeseen situations. Praise for quick service though. And, if overhaul the menu, please keep the yam ring, fu chu soya skin, sour plum asam boi drink, honey lemon drink, authentic fish ball ( minus porky pig). ...
Read moreThe customer service was very poor. I did not like the Cantonese Fried Noodle but the waitress insisted me to eat it by stating that all fried noodle is Char Keow Teow. I did not like it because it was less appetizingly so I asked him to pack it. He was very reclutant to do so and asked me to pass my kitchenware. I told him that I wanted to pack another food in another shop. Indeed, he did not want to pack even I told him that I will go to other shop to buy my food. Why am I not allowed to pack my food? I ordered from Foodpanda delivery before and I know that the shop can pack the food for the customer. He insisted me to pay the food although I haven't finish with my drink. The boss and chef are kind but not the waitress. He was very rude. I rather go to another local shop with local waitress because their waitress are friendly and helpful.
Second to that, the soup based variety is no longer available. So, definitely not...
Read moreHinz Kitchen has been a staple in Cyberjaya for many years, and it’s easy to see why. Whether you’re a resident, a student, or someone working nearby, this Chinese restaurant is always a reliable choice for a good meal. The menu offers plenty of food and drink options, and despite inflation and the SST, the prices are still very reasonable.
My personal favorite is the roasted pork rice with Kailan, along with their homemade herbal tea which is always refreshing. The staff are attentive and friendly, and many of them have worked here for a long time. That really shows how well this restaurant takes care of both its customers and its employees.
If you want good food, fair prices, and welcoming service in Cyberjaya, Hinz Kitchen is definitely a place...
