The food is ok ok la , not that great , waiter was a very bad and dirty hearted person , not helpful, not catering my needs and lazy (i asked for mggi goreng ayam and ayam separate, at that point i know The food hasnt been prepared yet but the waiter lied and said chicken has been mix my food already, which doesn’t make sense coz i order 1 minute back, so it’s unlikely for him to prepare the food with 1 minute. Big fat liers . Standing in corner and talking abt his india lifestyle to someone god knows who ). Food is expensive for an average tasting food. I waited for 45 minutes for my food ( crowd wasn’t that much id say roughly 6-8 ppl at that hour) . Really disappointed with the workers and thier hospitality. I got to know Chennai spice restaurant, Masala darbar restaurant and Chennai Express restaurant are under same owner but the food taste and quality is double standard. Regretted after I had my breakfast in masala darbar. Food taste was bad, old mutton and tasted flat yet they charged RM17. Total bills was almost 40 RM. the kesari smells pharmaceuticals @ NOT GHEE! To have a justified and repent the mistake, immediately we went for ice cream in the fruit shop in between both restaurant and then we went to Chennai spice and ordered masala tea in with special request of not following the same recipe as masala darbar. The Lighting is perfect, yellow ambience creating a cosy atmosphere to relax, unwind, to eat. White lighting will be too bright to enjoy ( food, good conversations). 2. Ordered apom, chicken fried rice, malai chicken tikka ( chicken marinated in cream , bbq) Total RM30. (3) Only chicken fried rice / nasi goreng ayam (Malaysian style, with red spice powder) is tasty.
