Kaki Lima Malaysia — Restaurant in Sepang

Came here with my family last weekend. The service was super slow; we waited for almost 1 hour to get our food. We ordered 3 nasi ayam and 1 chicken chop spaghetti and roti bakar. Plus, when I picked up the food at the counter, I asked the staff that managed the food to be delivered to the customer whether this is "correct roasted chicken rice" because I know; that is definitely not roasted. However, the staff replied arrogantly "ambil dulu makanan yang ni" so I go. Then I came back to pick up the drinks and then he asked me "eh yini roasted chicken" while holding a plate of roasted chicken rice (yasss that one is roasted coz the chicken skin is brown!!). Then I showed him my table so he could get the wrong food and gave us the correct one. HOWEVER HOW DARE HE JUST SNATCHED THE PLATE FROM MY MOM. DAHLAH KO YANG SALAH AKU DAH TANYA KAN TADI TU BETUL KE TAK PASTU KO MENYOMBONG MACAM AKU YANG SALAH TAH PAPE. Moreover, no one is cleaning the table so the new coming customer have to do it themselves (including us).

In a conclusion, the food was nothing special, the service was very bad and not coming here again. Very not satisfied with the price we paid and the service we get.

P/S: To the boss, maybe you could hire a part timer during weekend. YOU ARE CLEARLY...

I recently visited Kaki Lima at Quayside Mall, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.

To start, the food quality left much to be desired. The Mee Hoon was so hard it was nearly impossible to swallow—this is not an exaggeration but a fact. Other food items were also very average at best. Considering the prices, the value was lacking.

The service was just okay. While the order taker was polite, having only one counter is insufficient, especially during busy times. Additionally, the self-service system where customers have to collect their own food doesn’t justify the price point.

What stood out as a major concern was the cleanliness. I sat in the outdoor seating area, which was dusty, and the floor was clearly not cleaned properly. This was at 9:30 am, which made it more alarming since the day had just begun. The walls were unpleasant and had bugs, and the indoor seating area wasn’t any better—it was plagued by flies.

Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience. Cleanliness is a basic expectation in any dining establishment, and Kaki Lima fell short. It’s unlikely I’ll be returning...

Alhamdulillah, my former student brought my family and me here to try something new and we’re glad we did. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, with a beautiful and well-thought-out interior design that gives the place a fresh and unique concept.

The menu selections were delicious and perfectly matched our taste. Service was excellent, fast, friendly, and efficient, without long waiting times. Prices are slightly on the higher side, likely due to the shop’s location in Cyberjaya and rental costs, but still worth it for the quality and ambiance.
