We’d been wanting to visit this little restaurant for the longest time, but both times we tried, it was closed.
Then last Saturday, we had an appointment at Starbucks in Kota Kemuning and were looking for a spot to grab brunch beforehand. By chance, we saw the restaurant was finally open and without thinking twice, we walked in!
Madam Juliet welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness. The place has a really cozy vibe — lots of greenery all around, which we later found out she personally takes care of. She studied agriculture in uni, and it really shows in how beautifully maintained the space is. It felt like dining in a garden.
It’s also a pleasant place if you just want to take a break, enjoy a slower pace, and relax in a homely, green environment.
I loved the small touches — Nyonya-style tablecloths and a handwritten menu that’s simple, clear, and full of heart.
We ordered their dishes and beverages: Hainanese Chicken Chop, Mee Goreng Mamak, Bee Hoon Goreng, Kedondong Juice, and Honey Lemon Water.
Everything is cooked by Madam Juliet’s daughter — and honestly, both the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the difference. The noodles had that irresistible “wok hei,” and the portions were generous, packed with lots of fresh vegetables. I absolutely loved it.
My spouse really enjoyed the Hainanese Chicken Chop, especially the flavorful gravy and sausage. Both the noodle and chicken chop dishes came with fried chicken wings that were well-marinated and crispy, really tasty!
We also appreciated that the food wasn’t overly salty or oily, it felt wholesome, clean, and comforting, just like a home-cooked meal. Plus, the restaurant was clean and tidy, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.
During our chat with Madam Juliet, we found out she grows her own Kedondong fruits that’s how fresh the juice is! My spouse liked it so much, he ordered two more to take away, plus a fried rice and Bee Hoon Goreng.
We truly recommend giving this place a try. It’s run entirely by Madam Juliet and her daughter, it’s their family’s main source of income, and it’s amazing how much love, care, and quality they put into everything. The food and drinks are fantastic, the ingredients are fresh, the atmosphere is warm and peaceful, and the prices are very reasonable— with NO added taxes!
We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.
And YES, they accept reservations and small group...
