A&W Kota Kemuning — Restaurant in Shah Alam

2 hours to service a 5 people line queue

I just finished voting, and decided to drop by kota kemuning a&w to buy my favourite root beer realising there is a new branch here. Happily i arrived and was pleasently surprised anw kk is doing really well with a fair amount of people and 6 people in queue in front of me. I thought it would be pretty fast with so many staffs in the kitchen and 2 counters opened.

I was dead wrong. The guy in front of me mumbled something along the lines of cilaka ^$£#¥^. I was wondering why was he so impatient. So after 30 mins. I started to relate a bit to how he felt. There is 2 lines with each about 6 people. So minus the guy in front there is 5 more. Another 30 mins later ( an hour since I arrive). The line had 4 people. I kid you not, they took 30 to 45 mins to serve one customer!! After queuing for approx 2 hours I got fed up and went to 7 eleven to buy a bottle instead.

Please fire your 2 front staffs, they seemed unconcerned and uncaring about the line and people's time. I saw how they took their sweet time to fill the orders. One of them was a Malay short fat girl with spectacles. Seriously 2 hours to service 6 people is abysmally embarrassing and disgraceful. You charge a premium compared to kfc and McDonalds and yet you provide such a bad service. Not going back to this branch ever again. Beware

The service is sucks and extremely slow.. I do know that it is newly opened. And the staff is also new, i presume.. If u guys hv no experience means thn why u all cmg to work just to spoil someone's day.. The issue is u can count on how many customers are queing but not looking who is exactly waiting in the first line.. i was really pissed.. as she didn't notice me standing for so long just to make an order. Come on lah i wasn't so small for u not to notice me but can call someone who is standing right behind me..We are paying for ur service also, not free. Most importantly, the staffs thr just do not know how to give an eye contact when customer is talking to u. English language is also important for the staffs to learn. Have some...

It has been decades since school days i tasted A&W back in Singapore. The rootbeer float still taste as good and also the waffle with ice cream tops. Unfortunately,the traditional and reputed iconic coney dogs didnt taste as good as before for some reasons. The service here was kind of slow and unnecessary delay even though there were ample staffs available (easily more than 10 staffs in this outlet). Only one counter open for service.
