Read moreHeard good reviews about the coffee here , indeed I really like the latte. Love the tomyam pasta too.
Major turn off however, is the lack of friendliness from the staff. I run an F&B business too - you can’t avoid dealing with customers face to face, you even depend on people to come and support your business. What is wrong with a little greeting when people come in & at least a thank you or a smile as they walk out.
We didn’t experience this once but two times, both during brunch time. Walked in without any greetings despite the counter being right in front of the entrance. Second time, the girl staff didn’t even look up from her phone when we entered. She just stood up without a word at the counter waiting for me to place an order 🫠
When you walk out, you have to pass by the counter so again, it’s like you’re invisible. One of those awkward silent moments.
Even when the food is good, for me, I would think twice before coming again to a place with such hostility. We don’t expect VIP treatment or long chit chats, but a greeting & a tiny bit of warmth go a long way. This is what sets an excellent cafe and a usual one apart.
Hope they can improve on this...

She made a mistake when telling me the total but didn’t even apologize for it and treated me like a nuisance after both sides realized that I transferred the wrong amount (She said tiga puluh lapan instead of tiga puluh ringgit lapan puluh sen ye bukan saya salah dengar ye). I was about to help her out by buying their cookies and will add more money because the total will exceed the 38 ringgit I paid but with that attitude? I lost my appetite and just wanted to get out of the cafe asap. Maybe she was feeling overwhelmed with the number of customers or just merely having a bad day; I don’t know. Whatever it is, I hope you all can work things out amicably. I don’t wish anything bad to happen to her, and I hope she will feel better if she was having a bad day that particular day. Just a piece of advice to her: please be professional once you put on your uniform. Anyway, I would like to offer my apologies to the other staffs for being a reason for things to...
