Restoran Alam Cafe & Bistro — Restaurant in Shah Alam

One of the worst restaurants ever and please dont trust TIKTOK REVIEWS. When we came in there were only 3 tables that have customers and we were the fourth one. And as customers started to filled up, I noticed that none of the customers have food on their tables.

Service was terribly SLOW, even for a SIMPLE DISH. I noticed everyone have to wait for 1hour+ just to get their food and ours came 1hour and 15mins. It gets worse when the staff suddenly told us that the food we ordered is not available.

JUST IMAGINE AFTER 1 HOUR PLUS OF WAITING AND SUDDENLY BEING TOLD THAT THE FOOD IS NOT AVAILABLE.

What’s EVEN WORSE is that I noticed MANY CUSTOMERS had cancelled their orders and decided to leave because it was just NOT ACCEPTABLE. And just to mention, there was this one lady, I believe that she’s in charge at the front started to throw tantrum when people started cancelling their orders, and said “Kalau nak cancel, Cancel jelah, dia igt nak kena buat order dia sorang ke apa”

Based on my judgement, they have never operated a proper restaurant before, so it will be such a BIG HELP if they HIRE SOMEONE PROFESSIONAL who can take control of this whole situation.

Also just a piece of advise to the owners and staffs, if you keep this kind of mindset of not even bother of people leaving your restaurant and cancelling their orders, your business will be jeopardised. Please listen to the customers and improve your service to keep on operating...

We ordered:

Nasi putih + sup daging. The sup daging was really tasty. I requested for extra spicy for the soup. Perfect combination of spicy, sour and salty. This one I give 5/5. Really yummy.

Nasi Khaomok. The rice wasn’t at it serving temperature as it was at room temperature. It would be nice if the rice is warm. The rice was flavorful The chicken was cooked perfectly but a bit tasteless. The sweet sauce is just like any regular thai chili sauce. Nothing special. This one I give 2/5, many more to improve.

Cili potong. This is my first time a restaurant serve cili potong that is combined together with minced garlic and fish sauce. Really nice 👍🏻

We came for lunch around 3pm. Only a customer were there. but it was loud since there were 3-4 employees sat at the table beside us, chatting, laughing. I think it wasn’t...

No before pic of the food because I have low expectations. But, overall we're satisfied with the food taste . Siakap bakar bodo was fresh , even though no spices added. It tasted good. The set is affordable which includes 1 siakap bakar (medium size), kailan ikan masin, telur crispy, nasi putih 2 (beras wangi), ulam and sambal raja (consisting of sambal kuinin and sambal belacan).

We added sup ekor (tasted good too, although the portion is quite small for the price), sambal raja, and drinks.

Should request less sweet or not sweet at all because their drinks are so so so sweet 😂
