KUEH in Seksyen 13 has a mixed reputation with some positives but also several notable downsides. Here's a breakdown: Positives: 1. Variety of Kuih: One of the highlights at KUEH is the extensive selection of traditional kuih, making it a great spot for those who enjoy variety. 2. Great Service: The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience for guests. 3. Clean Environment: The restaurant maintains a clean and welcoming atmosphere, which is always appreciated. Negatives: 1. Smoking Issue: A serious concern is the presence of customers and staff smoking at the outside tables right in front of the entrance. This is not only unpleasant but also poses health risks, especially to families with young children. It's something the management and authorities should address. 2. Value for Money: The prices don't quite match the portions or taste. Considering the cost, customers may find it lacking in terms of value. 3. Authenticity of Malay Breakfast: If you're seeking an authentic Malay breakfast experience, this may not be the right place, as some items don’t meet expectations. 4. Coffee Quality: Unfortunately, the Caramel Frappe falls short—it tastes more like a simple pasar malam coffee. If you’re a coffee lover, you might want to look elsewhere for better quality. 5. Branding vs. Quality: Although KUEH has a well-thought-out brand, the quality of the food and drink doesn't always live up to its image. Overall: While KUEH offers a nice selection of kuih and has great service, the experience could be improved with stricter smoking policies, better food quality, and a more authentic approach to Malay cuisine.

The name is nice and simple, yet quite unassuming. We just happened to be in the neighborhood, and my wife was immediately drawn to go in, even though we had just had our lunch. After all, dessert is her main course!!🤭🤭 It seemed that they had been operating for a few years already. Having been able to survive until now, especially overcoming the MCO period was definitely commendable. But there are certainly a lot of rooms for further improvements. As we walked in, we saw the variety of traditional malay kueh mueh prominently on display. Much to our surprise, thats not all they serve!! They also offer Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Laksam, Roti Jala, Cucur Udang and Keropok Lekor, to name a few...But what impressed me the most was the size of the large crowd in the 2 shoplots cafe, at 3:00 pm!! And it kept growing while we were there...Business must be good then..👍👍 My wife is a laksa connoiseur, and she definitely couldnt resist trying their brand of laksa. It was just so-so, she said. She also ordered the Cucur Udang with peanut sauce, which she didnt quite enjoy either. So, I ended up eating most of it. I found that the taste was agreable to me, but what I couldnt accept was that it was served cold!! The same could be said about the Jenga-like keropok lekor...I guess, the Owner now must really learn about the art of properly serving warm food, and not just by microwave warming...🤔🤔 On the positive side, I noticed that they are able to attract chinese and indian clienteles. But, this is no reason to rest on your laurels, as clients do come and go, but good quality foods stay and linger in our minds...

1. Restaurant environment was awesome 2. The drinks was awesome and service fast 3. The food disappointed. Not recommended unless owner do some improvements. Service too slow. Kitchen preparation too slow and not organised. Roti jala for 5pcs was made in 55 minutes. 1 menu was prepared one by one in a period of 10 minutes even though you order more than 1 for the same menu. Why dont you do it together at least 3-5 bowls per serving or per order? really waste you time and our time. Cekodok pisang sedap tp hangit and not worst it. Roti jala & kuah kari almost nak basi. 4. Order number confusing your own staff during food serving. He has to find the number. Waste time. Pls fixed the number on table for easy tracing. Customer will inform cashier their table no. So at least your staff will remember the table number aesy to serve the food. 5. I always support Malay business even though its expensive but pls do it right. Your price expensive but not suitable with the portion and the taste. 6. Hopefully yesterday is not our last visit to KUeH. Wanna try again in future to see the improvements.
