Not a good experience. Come here to celebrate my birthday and expecting good food and services and i did not get what i was expecting. Service is soooo slow, air dapat after dah habis makan. Nak tunggu dapat makanan pun satu hal lagi. Quite overprice and the quality is totally not really living up to the price we pay. My dad ordered a mango magic tea and it's just a mango-flavoured uncang teh brand AHMAD TEA immersed with hot water. And he paid RM 5.50 padahal satu box of Ahmad Tea boleh dapat kat tesco RM10. We also ordered a seafood platter for RM49.90 and expecting a good plate of seafood but nah. The plate was cold, sotong adalah dalam tiga empat ring, mussel 4 ketul, udang kecik kecik, ikan dory adala beberapa pieces. Sejuk macam dah lama buat padahal tunggu punya lama. Salted Caramel drink ada ketulan ketulan ice batu yang tak habis blend. Nutella pancake tak fluffy pun, just a typical pancake slap with nutella and ice cream pastu charge harga belas belas. Food taste? Average. Takdela teruk tapi takdela sedap sangat pun. Okayla enough with complaints, i proceed with compliments eventhough its not much. The salted caramel cake is to die for. Sedap gilaaaa. And one more advantage makan kat sini, makanan lawa. Instagram worthy. Yes i pun terpengaruh makan sini sebab instagram. But for me, tak berbaloi insta worthy kalau bayar mahal tapi makanan so so and service tak seberapa. Rate? 2/5. Not gonna come back unless for the cake.

We first came here in 2017 and since then had been frequent visitors to this restaurant. My father in particular, was a fan of their platter. The food was delicious and service was good, which was the reason the restaurant was almost always full. After a while the quality of the food and service went downhill. The food and drinks did not taste the same as they were the first few times we visited. But what made us stopped coming was the following incident.

My mother took a day off of work just to take my two aunts to have lunch at the restaurant. It was supposed to open at 12pm but it did not. My mother and aunts waited for quite some time. Then they saw the staff filing out one by one from the restaurant. When queried, one of the staff said that their boss was taking them out that day and the restaurant would be closed. I left a comment on their IG page, saying that they should inform customers much earlier if the restaurant would be closed. What ticked me off was that they deleted the comment and sent me a reply via DM.

If someone publicly says your service is bad, you should also answer to it publicly, either own it and apologize or provide a valid explanation. Why do you only show the good side and hide the ugly side?

We went on a food hunting trail in Shah Alam today, and decided to stop by this place to have coffee and maybe some light bites. The place looks promising as it was quite crowded and people were waiting for tables.

Unfortunately that would be all the positive aspect of the place that I can mention. Maybe because we did not order any main meals which may improve our experince there, maybe.

Let me comment about the food first, we ordered the chilli fries - it was store bought fries, underseasoned, I hardly tasted or saw any chilli and there was a minute blob of cheese. A table behind us ordered the same dish, complained and sent the dish back. We also ordered the Jaslyn's salted caramel brownie, it tasted quite good actually, but I'm not sure whether it was undercooked or it is suposed to be that texture.

The other issue with this place is that they seemed to have many staff/servers who are unorganised and all over the place. No one seems to be doing any one thing and doing many things at the same time. Unorganised mess.

Making a mental note to skip this place on the next trip...
