Don't understand what the hype is all about. There are plenty of better authentic Korean restaurants around.
The bbq meat is cooked in the kitchen and served on hot stones ... which tends to overcook the meat. The chicken soup that came in the set was TASTELESS! It was chicken pieces soaked in water and some vegetable. The ramen was overcooked and soggy. Notice that they fully cook the ramen in the kitchen and then cook it again at each table in the soup.
The staff doesn't know what they are doing ... The person taking the order couldn't quite explained the complicated menu to us. Another server try to put all the ramen into the soup which was not even hot yet, despite the Korean boss giving him instructions on how to serve it.
Side dishes were not replenished unless you ask. They did pass our table and looked many times but does nothing ... not even to clear the empty plates which we had stacked up to make room on the table.
Perhaps this is a specialty of a certain region in Korea but the kimchi was sweet! Really sweet!! As are some other side dishes. Oh and you are charged for the usual Korean tea ... which is tea bags! When asked if they serve water, the...
Read moreOne of the best Korean restaurants in the area, in terms of food quality, price and service level. Overall well done
We ordered a seafood tofu stew and a bibimbap, both are excellent. The banchan (appetisers/side dishes) are really good too, especially love their kimchi and the one like mashed potatoes. They provide you with a generous amount of banchan, unlike some Korean restaurants purposely delaying in refill. Though we only were able to refill one time kimchi and another banchan as we were too full to eat anything else.
Also, when I requested to refill the kimchi, the waiter actually proactively refilled another one for us without us asking for it as he saw the other plate is empty. Service quality like this is not usual these days, I definitely have to compliment on him. Great job done!
Only thing that I would comment is that I feel that the restaurant is a bit too dark, prefer the ambiance to be brighter, just personal preference though.
Otherwise it’s superb! Do...

I like how they keep creating new side dishes, every time with 8 different unique side dishes, yet some are so surprisingly delicious, especially on Thursday night! Good portion with the price offered.
Had Bibimbap from all the Korean restaurants around this area just to compare. This place is undoubtedly the best I have had.
Alert: Do not go after 8:30pm, else you’ll dine and smell Clorox at the same time. As they will start cleaning the washrooms. Wasn’t a pleasant dining experience for over sensitive...
