Servis cepat. Kualiti makanan x pernah mengecewekan. (2019)

Update on 2022: Seriously think that customers that come to this restaurant are only repeating customers since few years back.

They cut down the menu since pkp, saying that it was because pkp so they have to do that to sustain. But pkp is long gone, and we still see the sameeee cut down menu. No more those delicious spaghetti, snowy iced dessert, sparkling drinks, superb iced chocolate. Nowadays you only got about what, 10 choices of main meal and few choices of drinks. Even mamak got more varieties.

The ones in charged of this menu, please consider re-introducing the old menu. I remembered pakli to be the talk of the town, it always looked so vibrant and full of life. I went there tonight and to be honest, it looks so dull and lifeless. I seriously think people are bored with the same choice in the menu.

The workers are efficient nonetheless. No blame on them, just...

Had a sudden urge for a good nasi lemak but didn't want to drive too far from home, googled and found a top 10 list, one of which is this place. They have a QR scan to order but it didn't work on my phone, but service staff were very responsive and took my order. A good nasi lemak should be judged on it's purity of taste, so I ordered the biasa version, no extra chicken to affect the taste test. Verdict? The nasi lemak was indeed lemak, it came with 1 whole egg, not half egg that you get from most other places, the ikan bills and kacang was enough for the portion, and the sambal had the right balance of spiciness and sweetness. At RM6.50, this nasi lemak is worth every mouthful. The drink (assam limau) was a bit on the pricey side but it was a big cup so I'll let that one slide. Intrigued by the Katong laksa I saw on the menu (I grew up in Katong, Singapore). This will be tested on my next visit back to Pak Li Kopitiam)....

This place used to be one of good kopitiam for eat, chills and hangout with friends and my family since years ago. Now I'm writing this is from my personal opinion..since I came back here for dinner after so long..

When the rules changed due to COVID-19, this place were still good as it is. Everything is clean and okay EXCEPT I've encountered some incident (rude behaviour) towards customer that want to dine in. (which is including me). It ruined my mood there.

Yes I understand you have a lotsa customer want to dine in here.... But for me, I hate this such incidents. Maybe your workers(team) are stressed or over-worked. If the manager could check on them seminggu sekali ke.. I think this will help to improve more on your services.

Remember, happy customers, happy business as well. I wish all the best, Pak Li Kopitiam! 😉

(p.s/ this maybe not happening to you. But trust me, you don't...

Story Our Restaurant History Our roots go back more than 30 years, beginning with our food service in Klang, our signature dishes became very popular among our customers. And with their encouragement and feedback, we ventured into the restaurant business, opening our first Pak Li Kopitiam at Bukit Tinggi, Klang in 2007. The idea for Pak Li Kopitiam was planted when many of our friends and customers commented that it was difficult to find kopitiam that served good local food at a reasonable price in a clean environment. And we agreed. There are many new-style kopitiam opening but many of them didn’t really feel or taste authentic enough. From this feedback, we developed our concept with missions that evolved around the creation of a clean, hygienic and cosy place with a muhibbah ambience where people of all races can get together to savour food created from our rich, traditional recipes.

Pak Li Kopitiam is where comfort food meets nostalgia, taking you on a tasty trip down memory lane—especially if your study years involved devouring plates of their excellent nasi ayam lemon. The menu offers plenty of variety, so you’ll never be stuck in a food rut. Prices are fair, so you won’t need to sell your old textbooks to enjoy a meal here. The environment? Fine. Nothing to write home about, but hey, we’re here for the food, not interior design awards. The staff are attentive but don’t expect Michelin-star theatrics. Accessibility could use some love—no ramps, so it’s leg-powered entry only. Nestled in the busy Section 13 commercial area, parking is like finding a golden ticket in a chocolate bar—pure luck. But once you sit down, it’s all worth it. Will I come back? You bet. Pak Li’s comfort food feels like a warm hug from the past.
