May 2025 early am Century egg porridge, thick. Shrimp , enjoyed this one. Crispy and fresh.
11/3/25 Sadly, very disappointed with food and service this evening. A huge contrast from yesterday morning, like night and day!!! Energy in the evening was so different. The chan pau was reheated to the point of wet sogginess, pau skin and filling stuck to the sides of container. This is not a steamed pau, it's roasted! The filling tasted nice but the reheating failed the dish and tasted like microwaved leftover. Chee cheong fun was tasty but served lukewarm. The crystal shrimp dumpling has strong ginger note, not to our taste. Was billed and paid for a shrimp&leek dumpling which we never ordered. Refund was given in cash upon query. Luckily checked before leaving. Not good. Hope everything will be back to normal if we finally decide to give another try.
10/3/25 Came at 7am, first customer. Service is impeccable, well trained staff. Chan pau came out fresh at 8am. RM40 for a light delightful breakfast, tq. Food still delicious. Love that the Siu Mai doesn't have a strong taste and smell of pork. Each morsel of hor yip fan was so yummy and full of stuff.
My favourite dim sum restaurant in Subang. Not many people at 10am on weekday. But parking is you know lar....Food is served very hot and fresh. Service is fast and polite. Hong Kong prawn chee cheong fun has a delicious sauce and sambal. Has veg also ❤️ The various pau are very sweet like desserts. Love the char Siu pau and the lotus, which has a salted egg yolk centre. Chan pau is also good ,served 3 in a cute presentation. Portuguese egg tart was really filling, one is enough, even though an order is for 2 in a set. The flaky crispy pastry crust has salt added, so it makes an interesting contrast with the creamy custard centre.
Reccomended also: fried fish ball, Brinjal and green chilli yong Tau Fu. Chilli was crunchy and fresh. Brinjal has a wonderful caramelized char to the skin....
Read moreMy first time visiting this place for dinner. A fairly good dimsum place. Best to come in a group and order more items to share. Food/Drink: We had 5 of us, and we ordered quite a lot of items to share. Ordering was easy, just write into the ordering sheet and hand it over to the staff. Har Kaw and Siew Mai was nice, meaty and worth the price. Also liked the steamed lotus leaf rice and their char siew pau. Overall, food was good. Ambience/Location: The shop setting is bright and welcoming. Tables and floor are clean, and overall very good. Parking is a challenge especially towards meal times around the area. Service: Staffs are very attentive and fast to react to our needs. Our tea pot got filled up often and fast. Overall good service. Price: Price isn't the cheapest, but good value for the quality of food and service. Recommendation: Definitely more people and order more varieties to share. When to visit: Any time during opening hours. We came at weekend dinner and it wasn't totally full, so, even walk in customers...
Read moreI used to dine in a lot but nowadays I usually tapao to take away. A few times the loh mai kai was soft like spoiled and the whole piece of chicken was red like raw. I had to throw away. I told the night shift young Malaysian lady and she said she has to ask manager shue yen the next day but didn’t get back to me. Other restaurants will immediately replace that 2 loh mai kai for me. The other Puchong branch used to be good. Not sure about now. A lot of Chinese staff mix with lesser foreign from Myanmar. USJ Taipan branch was full of Myanmar, bad service all the time, an order just placed at night and the Myanmar cannot void / cancel. All night visits. That is not acceptable. The chicken feet often is not fresh and loh mai kai chicken are red like raw and glutinous rice is too loose soft like spoiled. No refund no replacement. Complained to a local chinese lady staff did not help. Competitor Foo Hing food is much better, good service and a lot of...
