Visited on a Sunday for their RM29.90 buffet (RM32.90 after tax).

If you’re considering trying their buffet, this review might help you decide.

Food Variety: There were about 12 main dishes, including rice, fried noodles, and vege. They also had: • A noodle station • Small bites like spring rolls, fries, cake, kuih, fruits, and red bean soup • Drinks: Coke, honey lemon tea, and plain water

Environment & Crowd: The place was packed, likely due to their recent price drop. Seating was not very comfortable, and you may have to share tables with strangers. We arrived around 11:30 AM and noticed that most dishes were already running low. While the staff did try to refill them, the speed of restocking couldn’t keep up with the demand. Some trays stayed empty for a while. To be fair, it did seem more crowded than usual.

Food Quality: To be honest, the food was below average. A few dishes were okay, but most were either too salty, bland, or poorly prepared. It felt more like food to fill your stomach, not to satisfy your taste buds. • The rice, butter shroom, and curry were the only items I truly enjoyed. • The cake tasted very artificial – probably the cheapest kind you can imagine. • Kuih was average, and many small bites like spring rolls tasted like pre-packaged food. • Drinks were standard – sweetened packaged drinks. I though it was water with lemon slices, but it turned out to be artificial and overly sweet honey lemon. Some people might still like it though.

I skipped the noodle station, since I didn’t enjoy most of the dishes and didn’t want to waste food as I don't have much control over the portion of the noodle.

Staff & Service: Most or all staff were foreigners. While I personally have no issue with that, I believe having some local staff member helps maintain service quality and consistency, especially for local-style buffets.

Final Thoughts: Yes, it’s cheap, RM32.90 for a buffet is hard to beat. But honestly, I’d rather pay RM100 more for a better buffet experience: better food, more variety, a nicer environment, and better service. Or for the same price, I could get a good mixed rice meal with my favourite vegetables, a slice of nice cake, and a teh C – and enjoy it much more.

Is it cheap? Yes. Is it worth it? Maybe for some people. For me, no, but food is subjective. What I dislike, someone else...

Nestled in the same wellness-friendly zone as La Juiceria and Organic Express, Ador Dining SS17 offers a vegetarian fanfare with its surprisingly extensive menu – from dim sum and local favorites like pandan nasi lemak and sambal “ikan bakar”, to Cantonese cheese-baked rice and even some Western options. There’s definitely something for everyone here.

The setting is spacious and elegant with a touch of glam – think chandeliers, gold-toned chairs, and soft drapes. The dining hall is set to fit banquets for weddings and the likes than a casual café, making it a comfortable choice whether you’re in for a quiet lunch or small gathering.

Meals are served in neat sets that include soup, fruit, and small side dishes - a touch to balance the meal.

That said, while the variety impresses, the flavors can sometimes be hit-or-miss depending on the dish. Still, it’s a solid spot if you’re after a meat-free/ vegetarian meal.

They do offer desserts like cendol and ais kacang for a sweet ending! 🍧

Cereal prawn 5/5 Generous amount of prawns and cereal. Crispy and buttery. Abit to salty and sweet but it was a perfect dish.

Pork vinegar 4/5 Not overwhelmed with vinegar with generous amount of ingredients. It was ok. Very soupy.

Sweet sour mushroom 2/5 Although the amount was generous the deep fried mushrooms were soaking in the sweet sour gravy and turned limped not crispy. Try reducing the sauce. Taste wise ok. Childhood food

Penang char koay teow 0/5 I had to try this due to so many bad reviews and those reviews are not wrong. Please watch some YouTube videos on how to fry koay teow or remove it from the menu. The noodles came out in one huge clump of starch and was tasteless.

Summary is I love the portion of food. Super generous unlike most outlets that serve morsels of food. Definitely no MSG used in the cooking but has preservatives. Quiet environment and the staff look happy working...

The place does look very grand and fancy with the beautiful decor. However, the food and the service were terrible. We ordered bak kut teh large size, and it wasn't even large. You'd expect the bak kut teh to be flavourful with many ingredients, but no. It was totally plain and there weren't much ingredients in it. The rest of the dishes tasted so-so and some were super salty. For the service, my family had to self-service ourselves just to take our fruit tea, from the counter. We had to refill our fruit tea by ourselves, and take our own plates as the waiters were very slow. Waiting time for the food was very long too, it took more than half an hour for our food to arrive. Overall, it was a bad experience with pricey and mediocre food with bad service.
