Extremely Disappointing Experience at Bangkok Bangkok Thai Restaurant (Metropoint Kajang)

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at the new Bangkok Bangkok Thai Restaurant in Metropoint Kajang. The service was incredibly slow and unorganized, and the whole experience left me extremely dissatisfied.

Firstly, the waiting time for our food was unreasonably long. I ordered and waited for what felt like an eternity, and every time I asked the staff about the status of my order, they simply told me that the food was "still being prepared." I asked multiple times, hoping for some clarity, but the same response was given every time.

To make matters worse, while all my friends had already finished eating, I was the only one who still hadn’t received my food. This was extremely frustrating and honestly, quite embarrassing.

When I finally inquired about my order again, I was told that the kitchen prepares food in large quantities for all customers with the same menu, not according to individual table orders. This is absolutely ridiculous. How can a restaurant operate in such an inefficient way? Just because the restaurant is busy, does that mean we should all wait forever while they cook in bulk? This system makes no sense, and it’s certainly not how things should be handled, especially for paying customers.

I expected much better service, especially from a well-known restaurant. I left the restaurant hungry and very frustrated, completely dissatisfied with the entire experience. I really hope they rethink their service and kitchen management system because I won’t be returning...

I would say food was above average , but would I dine here again. An absolute no! Simply becasue of the biased service we received ! The receptionist was very warm and welcoming. FOod came out just minutes after ordering , but the server , I think had some issues , with what ,I don't know. She ignored us went to other tables , despite me waving at her ( we were the first to arrive at that time, and after us another 2 families ) . She had to go to the receptionist , ignoring my wave and then came to our table. We ordered the set, so the popia and drinks came later , but yes again, she delivered them to the rest of the tables first. When I called the other server, to clarify this, she came in and just ordered her to 'pergi, pergi' . At this point I had to tell her, serve the order which came in first. Nope she didn't apologize, but the other server did. Did the same thing with the last order, went around, pretended to acknowledge that we still haven't got our last order , stood for a while at the other table and then came to ours . I visited Bangkok Bangkok Thai Food Restaurant for iftar and felt like I was in Thailand. The place had a Thai vibe that made me excited to try their food.

I tried the Pratunam Chicken Rice, and it was really good! It had flavors different from what I've tasted in Malaysia, but with its own special twist. Instead of the usual chili, they served it with sambal belacan, which gave it a unique taste. The rice was also different but tasty. You should definitely give it a try!

I also had the Thai Style Chicken Fragrant Rice, and it was delicious. The smell was amazing, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back and have it again, along with trying more dishes next time.
