As far as strict vegetarian meals is concerned, this is a first for me. I was not expecting much for a first timer, but was pleasantly impressed with what was offered in the menu.
Starting with the place, it was really clean, i gather it would have an 'A' rating for an eatery somewhere. The atmosphere is cosy with a theme reflecting the strict meals served and i guess also the owner's passion for riding.
Food when it came was quite tasty actually. I would have tried most of the fare if not being a guest of a colleague but the the meals was enough to show me that strict vegetarian could be rather tasty. I loved the 'Thai Tofu' & the 'Brinjal Masala'.
The only downside of this establishment is that service is rather slow. Usually drinks would be served first and within15 minutes elsewhere but here, our starter 'pakora' was served then after a while, the cold drinks. The hot tea, was served later after we were almost done with the starter.
Overall, it's good with plenty room for improvement. If you plan to come, take note to come before the croud starts to avoid the long wait.
As usual, i do encourage you to write your experience if you do decide to try this place as it would be of great help to others to decide on planning their next...

Stumbling into this understated vegetarian restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Unlike most other vegetarian restaurants, this does not make a loud exclamation on its signboard.
The restaurant is simple, with a concise menu that's easy to choose from. Each person is served with cumin tea and a little write up on the benefits of cumin tea as they await their food.
I ordered the sambal petai Fried rice and asked for it to be extra spicy. They delivered. Very few joints ever deliver on that simple request.
Besides the good food, the smooth calming music playing in the background helped to elevate the dining experience.
The cost. Very reasonable. For what a delightful experience dining here is, RM 7 for a plate of fried rice felt very reasonable and I was more than happy to pay the amount.
I do see myself visiting this place again. Perhaps for a family dinner or a date with my girlfriend. If you get the chance to visit this place, do not hesitate!
Oh! Did mention that it is right at the SS18...
Read moreinitially Bindhu started out humble till they changed over to serve vegetarian banana leaf at reasonable price. After two good experiences, we had decided to take 2 friends over for lunch. A table on a busy weekend was reserved for the owner, 20 persons. the waiter rude and stated you can wait if you wish. well everyone including a foreigner is entitled to have a bad start of a day. waited 30 mins, and what was disappointing is the yellow dhall served was like rasam, when asked the same waiter stated it's not cooked properly, ask for sambar, same remark, green vege also similar, left my meal on the leaf as it was served and didn't touch it. I had asked a lady to clear it and stated that the food is all not palatable, her reply 'it's our normal cook', of which I believe the cook must be andropausing. The best part is the owner had only 10 persons at his table but rather keep paying customer stand and wait as though it was food that is sought after. Well it will be our last and I would not recommend anyone to a place that is...
