Went on on the first day of CNY. Food is still really good, service too and wait time was actually shorter than we remember. Shout out to Shawon and the crew.

The only downside was that it was really really warm hence a loss of a star for atmosphere. I understand one of the airconds wasn't working and that there are plans to have the AC replaced/repaired. I think if it is not so warm the dining experience would be much improved.

Will check it out again the next time we have a hankering for good fish and chips.

First up I will say that the Fish and Chips are really good; likely in the top 3 of Fish and Chips in Malaysia. As others have pointed out the portions are decent and chips are nice and thick. There different types of batters and my favourite was the chilli herb batter. You can pick different types of fish so I'd suggest taking Snapper if you're not willing to spend RM40 on a plate of fish and chips, Haddock if you like, meatier, denser fish and cod if you like it firm but not hard. None of our pieces were over-fried which was a bonus. Sides were nothing to shout about IMHO and lemonade while nice was on the pricey side (18.90 for a jumbo glass that would be good for 2 to share). The pan-fried fish was good too paired with rice and some sautéed vegetables. This came with a nice creamy garlic sauce that IMO was nicer than the tartar. We tried their starter platter too but that wasn't much of a standout except the fish bits with the curry batter. That was interesting.

I would come back and perhaps try the seabass which was on promo. Definitely recommended if you are hankering for good fish n chips which are sadly hard to come by...

The best fish and chips in Malaysia Their Fish and chips to be specific the batter achieved a satisfying crunch, encapsulating moist and flaky fish inside. We ordered Seafood Sharing Platter for 2 (10/10) or can I say it's actually enough for 3! (For small eaters). All seafood presented were fresh, crispy, tasty and to our surprise, used different batter recipe respectively. Indeed the best I've ever tasted. Tartar sauce, creamy mash, minted mushy peas are all delicious!

The Atlantic cod fish was very delicious, succulent and delicate texture, with each bite offering a burst of fresh, oceanic flavor. When properly seasoned and cooked, the natural sweetness of the fish shines. Simply choose plain batter for this!
