We went to this restaurant on last weekend to have our regular weekend family dinner. We were excited initially after reading the reviews that it was a nice place with a great view to have a meal. The place was clean as stated and the view was nice given that it was located at city area with a lake view. However, after placing our order, the head of waitress came to us to inform that the clay pot fish slice that we had ordered about 500 grams was not available, unless we go for the whole fish about 1.2kg which was too much for us as not all of us were fish eater and furthermore we were not willing to pay for the bones especially the head part. So we declined politely. Upon hearing this, the waitress (a Chinese lady, assuming in her forties or fifties) started to talk quite aggressively, she insisted that our order could not be cancelled because the chef was in the process of cooking the whole fish. We then politely asked her why were we not consulted when our initial order of the fish slices (500g) was not available and we had not agreed to pay for the whole fish which was more than double the price of our order? She then reluctantly informed us that she would check with the chef and see whether could cancel our order?! She came back after a while and informed us that our order has been cancelled and uttered these words in Cantonese "not an issue, we would eat the cooked fish"!!! We also noticed that she was very friendly to the regulars, especially one table that seated next to our table who also ordered the same dish earlier - the fish slices. Too bad! we would love to go back to this restaurant because of the distance (nearer than Lala Chong and Green View Restaurant , our regulars) and the lake view, as we are staying in Subang Jaya. BUT with the unprofessional service provided, we would have to place this restaurant less preferable, would rather drive further to have a...
Read moreI had the worst experience going here. Called up the restaurant before going because i had 5 guest in total, and they said it was good to come for lunch. So we headed there. Once reached, the floor manager shued us away saying no place rudely and the taukeh said cannot it seems., and just walked of while i was trying to explain to her that ive called. She looked quite racists and was extremely rude. Then came the person who i reserved over the phone ( Ms. Choong) who showed us a table than. After few minutes, she came back requesting us to place the meal order as the chef is busy with many booking. Understanding the situation since its CNY eve, we also placed all our order ( we actually wanted to wait for the arrival of our remaining guest) u know ryte table manners? After few minutes, she came back informing us that the food will take 2 hours to be prepared, as the chef refused to cook as well and she cant do anything? And asking us to best find a different restaurant instead? Like seriously??? I brought guest, and this is how u guys embarass me infront of them?? This is ridiculous! Especially ur floor manager lady was super rude. She badly needs to be given some basic mannerism classes to be in such a role if u guys want to sustain. Im definately not going to recommend ur place anymore as u guys dont value people's time and treat people so badly, despite reserving theres no gurantee? So whoz fault now? Ur Taukeh? Ur rude floor manager? Or ur chef?? So so dissapointing n such a...
Read moreBeen going to this restaurant for years & it’s such a pity how the restaurant has turned out now.
The current (previous staffs was professional and good) staffs is super rude, condensating and arrogant. Not sure what they’re so proud about when the restaurant was empty on a sat.. be warned though, if you’re going to complain to them, be prepared for that one old guy saying this to you “ you ate already right?” Pathetic
The moment you sit down, the staff will start serving peanuts and a plate of Rojak WITHOUT informing you that the rojak is to be paid for (6rm). They will not mention anything to you until it’s time to pay. It’ll be added in the receipt. This has nothing to do with the 6rm, more on the unethical issue here.
Ask the old guy why didn’t he mention to us that the rojak is to be paid, his response was “ I didn’t see the rojak on the table “
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA snake.
You’re better off eating crab at fatty crab or lala chong mah. Way cheaper 😏
Btw, they most probably changed their chef as their mantao ain’t as good as before and sweet and sour is surprisingly spicy.
Adios...
