Golden Night Hotel — Hotel in Petaling Jaya

First of all the staff were very kind at desk and providing drinking water and a kettle. First room was horrible with mold all over the walls and no hot water in shower. Next day after becoming ill from the mold I was moved to another room. New room had some mold as well and paint chipping on walls, no hot water, 2 tv channels ( no English), bird poo and someone’s home as a view, so curtains had to stay closed.annoying elevator noises 24/7. I originally booked this room last minute and mistakenly for 28 days instead of 14. I did leave early as well to get surgery and stay I hospital and move to a cleaner hotel. They refused to refund me and I understood it was my booking error and took the loss. Some Compensation for the dirty rooms would have been nice .Room has no microwave or refrigerator so makes things challenging to eat and no restaurant in walking distance. There is a store around the corner that is run down, cats all over food, and has limited products. To eat- order food on grab or take a 6-12 rm grab to mall each way. I suggest for only a 1 night stay to rest but linens are not clean as well. All stained.wifi but doesn’t work .Rooms smell of mold. Not suggested...

I got a room priced RM 60 ish per night. Cheap.

The first room I got was awful, water leakage from air conditioning, technician wasn’t helpful at all. Loud noise from the road and the building at the back ( there’s no way to escape the noise, as the hotel is facing towards the main road and at the back of the hotel there is a very old shabby building where somehow you can hear people drilling at night). Luckily we managed to change to another room when the water leakage worsen the next day. You get what you pay for.

Location: 👎🏻although on the map it says it is close to Sunway Pyramid, but you have to walk 30mins to get there, or else you gotta take a Grab car for about RM 6 to reach there. No LRT station nearby ( the SS15 LRT station isn’t within walking distance)

Dining: 👎🏻 No grocery stores / restaurants (there’s one Indian restaurant at the back but we would rather call a cab and go to Sunway Pyramid). Very inconvenient. You gotta stock your own food if you don’t wanna take cab to find a restaurant...

book two nights at this hotel just bcos its the cheapest and the closest one i can found to sunway lagoon. the room i get mmg padan lah dgn harga nya pon,cant ask too much. room 301 got this faulty toilet door, cant close it from the outside. the room was clean and everything was fine. just keep note to all the other visitors out there, at night the entry to the hotel will be close and u have to get in through the stairs to the first floor and take the lift from there. i guess security purpose lah kot. maybe got robbery case once kah...
