Desi Swaad Kitchen — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Visited in yesterday evening. I’m a person who travels to Punjab really frequently and have even stayed there for studies. Overall place was clean and pleasant, as a vegetarian there was pretty much nothing in sense that I ordered mushroom butter masala and mushroom Karahi masala. The mushrooms tasted not fresh at all and it was filled with too much of spices.

For my family, they are non-vegetarians, they did mention that the portion was small for the fish curry and tasted like ordinary curry filled with too much of spices.

The spice level was 10/10, it was so high that my cousin had to visit a doctor today. He came home vomiting and having difficulty sleeping as the spices/masala intake was too high

I ordered dhal makhani, and it came out to taste like bubur cha-cha (Sweet bean porridge). Dhal makhani is supposed to be brown with flavors of ghee in it.

The lady in the counter was nice and humble, and she cancelled that from our bill. She was really nice and helpful.

A lot of improvements for the owners and chef. Even their Cha was too spice orientated. Hope they improve and work out their meals better suiting Asian cuisine and...

First visit here for dinner on a Sunday evening. Tried their curry fish, butter chicken, biryani rice, mango lassi, masala chai and bru coffee. Both the fish and chicken gravies were spicy, minty and aromatic, with its own unique bold, deep and rich flavours. However, the type of fish fillets is too soft, and lacking in bite! The mango lassi was creamy and refreshing, while the coffee and masala tea, with its blend of ginger and cinnamon spices, were perfect in enhancing the meal. Prices are competitive. Portion size is satisfactory. Overall, a highly satisfying and comforting outing at this 10-month old Northern cuisine restaurant. Do pay them a visit if you love authentic...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. i bought their food from shopee food but i wanted to review here too. they gave big portion tak kedekut y'all and the food taste is good especially the chicken is well cooked. i was craving for biryani for a long time yet i found the one as always i get the worst one but this time i got the one which my craving have fly away after eating their food.

also the pani puri really good and crunchy but the liquid im not sure what it called, it's a little too salty. other than that it's very ii tasty and you guys...
