Had brunch with my brother at around 11.30 am. Reached there and the crowd was already heavy, fortunately there was enough seating for everyone considering that the shop layout provides spacious yet sufficient seating for a peak crowd.
I had ayam goreng and kangkung goreng with a lot of kuah campur while my brother had ayam masak lemak and 2 types of f veggies. With nescafe ice and teh-o ice plus 3 pieces of pulut panggang and keria each, the total bill comes up around RM28, quite reasonable but not exactly at B40 rates.
Overall the food has a lot of variety, even I notice a nyonya had a hard time choosing, due to abundance of choices of traditional Malay 'lauks' on show. However I feel the kuahs (gravies) are slightly watery. My favourite is ikan keli sambal but I was turned away at the starting price of RM9+ each, depending on the sizes. Actually I was looking forward to nasi dagang but that was sold out at the time.
There are also nasi lemak lauk, Mee Kari, bihun sup and soto etc, for more choices.

The parking here is almost impossible..in fact, during our first visit, I had to park far away near the housing area...People would just double park indiscreetly, but maybe they are regulars and are already familiar with each other.. My wife swore by the Mee Jawa, as it tasted similar to those served during her school days...and she couldnt get enough of the lontong, and those traditional malay kuehs either..For me, they dont offer enough variety to tickle me pink..If you like chicken, you could get ayam bakar, goreng, curry, korma, gulai, and the rest. Not much on beef, and no mutton or lamb whatsoever. Not many variety for seafood either...So, I just couldnt get myself excited, no matter how...
ย ย ย Read moreVery overated restaurant. Kuih have alot of variety, taste is not bad. I really recommend their seri muka and kuih lapis. Nona manis was also pretty good. Drinks very dialuted (I ordered teh ais and nescafe ais). Nasi campur have lots of variety for the dishes. Lontong horrible (kuah cair n nasi impit was almost basi hence you can see I didnt eat it) Mee jawa edible (chicken taste abit weird). Spend RM17.70 for lontong, mee jawa, kuih (nona manis, seri muka, keria) and two drinks. The cashier didnt charge for the lontong as the nasi impit tasted funny. I gave 4 stars cause the service was good and they didnt charge me for...
