DubuYo @ The Mines — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Today 17/3/2024, I went and stood in front of the restaurant, waited to be ushered and shown a place to sit. There were 6 staff sitting not far from the restaurant entrance, i persume they were having some kind of discussion. A good 3 minutes passed and no one bothered to say hi or welcome. Told my kids that we are not having our meals here and walked a bit a further, there was a Nando's and just when we reached the entrance, I heard both their Malay personnel calling 'Hi Welcome to Nando's'. So much energy and spirit for someone who are fasting. I went in straightaway. Sat there and had a nice meal with my kids. Dubuyo, please learn to be sensitive when you open your restaurant. People may just move away if they stood there and you dont even bother to welcome them. No point you open your doors but you dont care about people who come to...

Taste - I wouldn't call this Korean food anymore. I ordered jajangmyeon, and it's totally different from the original. The noodles and the paste use completely different ingredients, and the taste is super bad.

Cleanliness - I wouldn't say it's bad, but your staff cleaned in a rush (just simply wipe it with a dirty and wet rag, and the whole table is still wet and stinky.

Service - Although there are some people there, it's not super crowded, yet we still waited like 30 minutes for the food to come. Also, the side dishes still require extra charges (with only 2 pieces of kimchi, LOL).

Overall, the taste is bad, cleanliness from a franchise POV is still not qualified, service is slow, and there are additional charges...

We came after an event at the convention centre, so the restaurant was packed. Despite that, our meals came quickly, and with no errors. We ordered the Meal Set for 2, which comes with Sundubu jjigae, bulgogi, 2 rice, 2 drinks, side dishes, and 2 desserts. The food is definitely not "authentic", but for local taste, it's ok. I particularly liked the bulgogi as the caramelised onions really brought out the flavour of the meat. The beef that came with our soup was abit too thick, cooked too well, and so it was hard to chew. Would recommend maybe going for the chicken or seafood version instead. Kimchi was so-so.
