If you are searching for a great Chapathi and Northern Indian food spot in Subang Jaya, look no further than Tasty Chapathi. The other Chapathi restaurants in Subang Jaya are pale in comparison.
The variety and taste is great. Truly authentic. Generous portions and superb presentation.
The service is nothing short of excellent. Look for Mr. Naeem - He has been most welcoming by giving us a tour of the restaurant and suggested our order for the night. We had pani puri, tandoori chicken, chili garlic prawns, chicken masala, garlic naan and their signature dessert - kulfi pistachio. The order is spot on and perfect! Thank you Mr. Naeem!
The shop ambience and interior is spectacular. I was in awe upon entering. It's a great place to catch up with friends, family or celebrating a special day. Also, very convenient paid parking spot right beside the entrance.
Food price is the big surprise given the overall exclusive impression of the restaurant. The price is very very fair and affordable. Slightly more than what you pay at a nearby mamak bistro, but you get much more value, taste and comfort!
I don't usually write long reviews but 11/10 would be my honest rating. Again, to all Chapathi lovers, look no further than Tasty Chapathi...
Read moreAs we walk in, we are greeted with a rather pleasant, tasteful subtle decor and ambience. Puts a lot of Malaysian Indian restaurants to shame.
Separate dining spaces cleverly crafted, make it an ideal venue for small or medium sized gatherings.
Food is par excellence. A nice combination of south and northern dishes, with properly thought of combo-meals, makes choosing your order simple and quick.
Portions are decent and makes for a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Indeed, it may disappoint those used to filling up to the brim. It's a place to dine, not a budget eatery.
Service is pleasant, quick and efficient. Waiters are well trained and exceptionally polite and helpful.
On the downside, there isn't any wine or other spirits that will be great to pair with the excellent food. Perhaps the halal food folk matter more due to regular patronage. (It's situated in the Tractors Malaysia building).
Also the instrumental Bollywood music may have to be turned down a notch or two, if it aspires to attain some kind of a status and continue to attract decent Subang folk who detest the IndiaGate crowd.
All in all, I believe it is the go-to place in Subang for a great Indian dining experience.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Tasty Chapathi Subang Jaya with a group of 30 adults, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was exceptional. Our server, Bapin, went above and beyond to ensure our group felt welcomed and accommodated throughout the evening. The private dining area was beautiful, clean, good lighting along with built karaoke system.
But it was the food that truly stole the show. I'm at a loss for words to describe how delicious everything was, but the mutton keema nachos were an absolute standout. We found ourselves ordering them repeatedly, unable to get enough of the incredible flavors and perfect balance of spices. Each dish we tried surpassed our expectations, leaving us craving more.
I highly recommend Tasty Chapathi to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The combination of exceptional service, inviting ambiance, and mouthwatering food make it a must-visit destination. We will definitely be returning for more culinary delights...
