Kedai Kopi Malaya @ NU Empire — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I ordered from this restaurant on Grab, lured in by the positive reviews, but it was one of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve had.

• Roti Jala: It was pre-cooked and tasted like it had been sitting out for ages—completely stale and unappetizing. • Roti Canai: They served a ready-made Kawan Roti Canai, and to make it worse, the sambar was spoiled. Serving spoiled food is unacceptable. • Soto Ayam: This dish was a mess—soggy, old, and tasted bad. It clearly wasn’t fresh. • Teh C: Shockingly, this was just a ready made packet Teh c. For the price, I expected a freshly made tea, not something poured out of a packet. • Nasi Lemak: Bland and forgettable. With so many good nasi lemak options around.

The quality and freshness were severely lacking across the board. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I’m honestly baffled by the positive reviews. My rating: 3/10. Save your money and...

Bruh how can you mess up half boiled eggs…TWICE.

First time, egg was not fresh and looks suuuper off with a discoloured yolk (did not take a photo cause i showed it to the staff and he took it away). This tells me the egg is not fresh at all. I asked for a new one. Then he gave me overdone MICROWAVED eggs. Shamelessly, i know microwaved eggs when i see one cause ive done it many times. If i wanted microwaved eggs, i wouldve done it at home myself right?

Kaya butter toast is just…no words. Just bad. Look around you, kaya butter toast is everywhere in the market for you to benchmark and you serve one that is waaaay below average.

Its a no for me. Save your money, go...

When I look at the good reviews, I thought of giving it a try..it turns out bad..it took a them 30min to serve us food when just only 2table sitting guests during puasa month..when I order 2 set of half boiled egg and they told me only can order 1set coz they don’t have egg anymore when there is only 2 table..then we order curry mee and mee rebus and when we tried it is bland taste..I couldn’t even finish it because is hard to swallow..definitely disappointed with this place..not recommend unless the management take action to improve on...
