Visited this cozy little cafe to meet up with my sister after work, to celebrate her birthday. She raved about this cafe as she frequently dined there. The meal is hearty and quite affordable - for a cafe price We had red velvet cupcake and spinach mushroom quiche - also, tasted reasonably good. I just had an ick when we first arrived , we browsed the cupcake section wayyy too long hoping the staff would greet us as we needed to know the cupcake flavours (not labelled; there were 5 different types of them on display). At the counter when it was time to order, the staff was impatient (nobody else queueing at the time) when we asked more about the promo and the menu. He simply brushed us off to take a seat first and think about our order before actually making one. It was quite unpleasant and partly because of the language barrier and the lack of warmth . The same staff served our noodle without the cutleries? Unsure if we are supposed to get them ourselves or wait to be served because frankly, we didnāt mind being told what to do rather than wasting our time waiting. The other staff who tended to our table was better and more experienced. He even lit us a candle on my sisterās birthday cupcake āŗļø Overall the cafe looked a little short-staffed on the front likely because it was during peak dinnertime. I brought home the same noodle and a cupcake for my husband and he devoured them happily. Will likely visit again to try out...

Chocolate fudge (10/10) - Balanced amount of sweetness from the chocolate mousse in between in layer of chocolate sponge cake. We love that it was not too sweet, not too dense and it was decadent. Will come back again for this cake.
Nutella babka (8/10) - Love each layers of the sweet swirled dough filled with the nutty Nutella sauce. There were a few bits of hazelnuts inside too. But the bread was not that soft and airy. The sweet Nutella sauce was well balanced with the saltiness and sweetness of the bread dough
Donut filled vanilla (6/10) - Least favourite. The donut had a weird yeasty smell, not like the typical donut. The vanilla cream was good though.
Frizzy berry (10/10) - Great drink to gulp after all the desserts devoured. Soda and berries can never go wrong.
The pastries were surprisingly cheap! Paid everything listed above for less than RM50. Saw that they also have breakfast meals, will come back to try em.
Place was cozy and not crowded on weekday at 3-ish. Good place to chill with friends and do some work. Cafe was a bit small...

Came at 12pm and place was empty, yay for me! Selection of cakes and pastries were quite plain, doesn't look very appealing nor were flavours interesting/enticing.
Ordered the beef stew as it was recommended by cashier, and also iced appear pear cinnamon latte as it sounds interesting. Drinks came first but was disappointed, unique acquired taste, has bit of sour fermented apple pear profile, not to my liking. Beef stew came later and portion was huge! Taste itself was flavourful but not "jelak", beef was tender. And despite having so many items on menu, the mash potato in the beef stew wasn't instant. There is comfort in knowing the shop prioritise quality.
Was here for around 30min and noticed customer just dropped by for a quick take away for their pastries/cake.
Will be back the next time to try out other items, remember to get the staff's recommendation! Or you may be disappointed like my apple pear cinnamon latte. :)
