2 stars for the ambience and environment.
It's such a shame that owners put in so much money to establish such a place but due to lack of proper management skills and poor staff recruiting, the experience of a patron becomes bad.
The food, to be frank it was not too bad, and not amazing also. I personally like their rice paper rolls as it feels fresh to the mouth to be eaten. I tried their vegetarian pho and vegetarian kuey teow fried and few other dishes, there's nothing bad I can comment on them but they truly taste bland and of no much flavour. But it's edible of course.
ONE THING I WANT TO POINT OUT
Poor poor poor service. When we arrived on the table, me and a friend, we were only given one menu card, which is not normal as a semi-fine dining restaurant should not be taught these simple rules.
When I requested kindly to one of the waiters (Local), he kept a very unhappy face. That immediately set our mood off to dine here. The staff seems pretty clueless and have got no smiles on their faces or whatsoever. When we ask something, they show an angry or a disappointed face. I mean I do not feel entitled, but as a customer we expect to have proper service and food. We pay for the experience.
I've been here twice, first time the service was bad, second time was even worst. Will I ever come back again ? Probably not, not till you change your sickening staffs and put properly trained ones.
Please don't give us the dipping sauce (which contains traces of fish sauce). That's absurd!! You can't serve that to a vegetarian customer. Even if you've stated in the menu, but the whole idea of it is completely wrong and bizzare. Please provide with a vegetarian based sauce, like lemongrass sweet chilli sauce, or peanut...
Read moreFirst time visiting Subang Parade’s outlet as my friend wanted to try Pho out. She has never tasted it before. We ordered 2 drinks, 1 vietnamese roll and 2 noodles. Drinks and vietnamese roll arrived after 2 mins of ordering. However after almost 30mins of waiting noodles was still not ready. We saw that the other table who have just arrived received their food only after 5 mins of seating down we decided to ask about our order. The staff was questioning us back if the food really did not arrived when the table was clearly empty except for the drinks and roll. Since it was already almost 9 we decided to cancel the order and wanted to leave. Waited for the cashier to call the supervisor and when he arrives he only asked the staff why instead of addressing the issue with us. He immediately said we do not need to pay and insist even after we said we still wanted to pay. So i could sense that he wanted to cover up the issue and wanted to avoid from producing the receipt. I insisted of paying for the drinks and roll we have eaten. At first when we arrived we could hear the staff goofing around, laughing and talking to each other. They were being playful and that could be one of the reason why the miss looked on our noodles. They must have assumed all orders were done and ready to rest or something as there was only the cashier left at the counter when we wanted to pay. The rest only appears when supervisor was called. Disappointed as my friend first time trying it out was a...
Read moreI had a terrible experience ordering food from Super Saigon Subang Parade through Oddle.com. I placed two orders at 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, well ahead of time to ensure the food would be ready for breaking fast during Ramadhan.
When I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 pm, the place was understandably busy and full. To my shock, they had not processed or even received my order. I showed them the order and payment confirmation emails, but the staff struggled to log in to Oddle and couldn’t retrieve my order from their system.
I asked them to screenshot the order on my phone and requested them to expedite my order since it was almost time to break fast, and my whole family was hungrily waiting for the food.
On a positive note, at least one of the staff members was apologetic and genuinely tried to help me get my order processed as quickly as possible, despite the disorganized situation. It took them an hour to get my food ready, at 8pm.
This experience was extremely frustrating, especially during Ramadhan when timely service matters a lot. The lack of coordination between Super Saigon Subang Parade and Oddle.com is unacceptable. I hope they take necessary steps to improve their order management system and customer service to prevent this from happening again.
Wouldn’t recommend ordering via Oddle.com until they get their...
