Wei Kee Restaurant @USJ — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I called this restaurant to reserved a goose and wanted to reserved the vinegar pork as well but a male staff said that there is no need to reserved vinegar pork as they will surely have enough. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that there was no more vinegar pork, we were utterly disappointed with the service. The male staff came to our table and said they only left the sauce and bits. We said we don’t mind trying a bit even though just the sauce. A female staff came to us later and said nothing at all for vinegar pork. Plainly disorganised these people. And the roasted goose was not that fantastic either. Honestly, we can give this a miss after eating here. And we ordered more of other food such as vegetables and what a disappointment again that we were told that they left with limited vegetables. At the next round, we were told no more vegetable were left. So at the end, they have done no recovery service at all. So trust me, this restaurant has no credibility and I promise that I will never visit this restaurant again. No one should go to this restaurant with such staff and owner who has no credibility’s and treat their customer with zero honesty. Service was never their top priority and they just want your money, it’s too expensive and ridiculous price. There is another better roasted goose at Sungai Buloh, we can all go there. Say NO to Wei Kee because it’s roasted goose is so salty Super salty and too oily. Quality is not good. I have tried the one in HKG and this is no way near or taste like those from HKG. Tried the roast duck for the first time. I didn't eat in the restaurant but tapau back. I must say that this could be the best roast duck in the USJ Subang Jaya area. The duck was very well marinated & all the marination in the duck abdomen/cavity which was then sealed, has been very well absorbed during the roasting process, resulting in very sweet & tasty meat. Even the breast portion which I don't really like tasted great. And the dipping sauce was great too. Compared to the Restoran Goldenroast's van that sells roast duck daily near the USJ 2 park, I prefer the one by Wei Kee, cos Goldenroast's ducks seem to have just too much MSG (*also be aware, if you are among the first/early customers when the Goldenroast's van arrives, the seller might give you yesterday's unsold ones which he has re-roasted. You will know it's yesterday's duck as it tastes very dry). I am not surprised by the quality of Wei Kee's roast duck as they have been in this business for a long time. The price at Wei Ke for a whole duck is RM70, which is more expensive compared to Goldenroast's, but tastewise, Wei Kee is better & as such, paying that slightly extra sum is no big deal. I never purposely eat here, unless No choice as many shops at usj taipan closed on Mondays. I solely patronise Wei Kee usj taipan when in a rush and no choice etc. Each time I am 'forced' to buy, I will cussed it till I finished eating.. first, portion is small for it's high pricing than other similar shops. I don't mind as I was in a rush today. But by 4pm I am already Hungry which is unusual.(as both the chicken and rice volume is SMALL...suitable for feeding Cats).my dinner usu 7:30 pm.. paid them so much, few chicken slices, and still not full. Also cheap quality rice given...my next trip probably 4 months away or when I am in a rush and need to takeaway fast..
